Join Jen Vest, Two Door Group co-founder and American Dream Chicago host, to explore historic and vibrant Uptown. Chef Reda tells Jen about raising money for “Hope For Tigray Women”, a non-profit providing humanitarian relief for women affected by the civil war in Ethiopia.

Down the street, Jen gets a pre-construction tour of the historic Gerber Building, recently rehabbed by the CTA, which is the future home of the Chicago Market grocery co-op. Matthew Ruffi, Chicago Market Board President, explains the community ownership model for the full service grocery store, which will also be a community hub — a vibrant center of exceptional food, workshops, meetings and performances.
