Is it possible to use vtec in intake part
Ответитьso is it only the oil psi when it gets to a certain point that enables/disable this? or is there a computer controlled valve or solenoid also? if no other control, then wouldn't changing the oil weight then effect psi at different rpms?
Ответитьtbh i thought that vtec was a thing like only 90s and 200s cars used. wild it's still used today but we never hear about it
ОтветитьJust came across your video as my 07 Honda Accord hit 250k. Engine is a beast.
ОтветитьAmazing video!
ОтветитьWhat is the source of oil pressure that lift the middle lobes.
what if vtec solenoid is on all the time. What is the consequence, is it bad, good for engine.
Thanks
He explained in whole how vtec allows more air and in the end showed us it was gor exhaust.😅😅😅😅😅
ОтветитьI get emotional whenever I hear a VTEC it's like the sound of ancestors calling out to me.
Ответитьyou would think it would let more air in for the initial torque...
ОтветитьHonda, the Nintendo of engineering, solving a problem nobody else has.
Ответитьyou left out that driving a manual car with a VTEC engine is super fun. the power ban is huge...
ОтветитьAwesome info
ОтветитьThank you so much for your clear speech and the best VTEC explanation!!😊 As far as I can see there's many types of Honda engines and types of VTEC are different which makes it so interesting I can't stop my internet research😂 I will post this to my page!!✌️😎
Ответитьalways a pleasure listening to someone that knows what they are talking about
ОтветитьApex
ОтветитьGreat explanation! 😂
Ответитьver exquisite explanation
ОтветитьWould there be a benefit to having V-TEC on both sides of a turbo engine?
ОтветитьI have never seen an explanation on how the pin that locks the lifters together doesn’t shear. They’re both moving at different speeds and you have a solid steel pin that shoots out into a blind hole? Why doesn’t it snap the end of the pin off?
ОтветитьI have a 2010 civic 1.8l that jerks at speeds over 50mph when vtech turns off(live stream scan tool). It only does it when i'm barely pressing on or off the pedal. Could this be a throttle body issue?
ОтветитьDamn, it was not so high tech as I believed. Belief again is bad. As it was when I understood that I was an adult with my own brain and not as part of a bigger mechanism, like church. Thank you Jason! Deep bow towards your attention to detail, your patience and friendliness. These are not exclusive. Cheers!
P.S. You and Brian Cox are my inspiration to technology. And I confused you both for a while.
Thank yo anyways!
Excellent explanation. Thanks for posting.
ОтветитьJames: buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuWAAAAAAAAAAAA!
ОтветитьSo new VTEC engines having vtec only on exhaust side explains there is no sound difference in intake just like the old VTEC engines right?
ОтветитьYamaha adopted it or copied it and called it VVA..
ОтветитьHmmm......a transmission in a camshaft. Of course!! Who whould have thunk? Yes, everyone😀
ОтветитьWhere does "E" come into play?
Ответитьvc ve q o video ta bom quando eu que nem falo ingles entendi como o VTEC funciona
ОтветитьUnless the engine is desmodromic, the cam-shaft does not close the valves; springs do.
ОтветитьSo is the intake already higher? Is that why it doesn't have the vtec to switch between lower and higher?
ОтветитьИнтересно как влияет эта система на расход топлива? У меня на Хонде ДВС К20 Втек с одной стороны. Много разговоров об экономии... Работая на бедной смеси ... Спасибо .
ОтветитьChampion!
Ответитьתודה!
ОтветитьWhy do you sound like Mark Rober?
ОтветитьThis is how Honda rules the head game! 💪
ОтветитьFascinating, the person or people who invented that are sitting on a beach with their toes in the sand, earning 20%😂
ОтветитьWas wondering if they could just have that more lift permanently on that exhaust flow since gasses coming out of them are already combusted and would not require more fuel?
ОтветитьAnd also other videos you make are excellent 👌. I watch and learn from you. Thank you
ОтветитьYour video, presentation, explanation is the best. Thank you Dear. Excellent ❤❤
ОтветитьGreat video! Curious as to why not have vtec on the intake too even with a turbo? Just that little bit more opening to push the air in easier? So even when the turbo isn’t creating a ton of boost can still push air in with less pressure. Is it due to simplifying the engine for less moving parts or to minimize cost?
ОтветитьHard to tell if this guy is 19 or 39😂
ОтветитьIt was a fantastic explanation in just the right amount of time.
ОтветитьHonda (V-tec maker) was really genius
ОтветитьAm I the only one who thinks your voice is extremely similar to mark Roberts? Lmao
ОтветитьI wonder, for exhaust, why not always use the higher lobe? I do understand the explanation of using VTEC on the intake valves, but on exhaust you could always use a high lift right? It just doesn't make sense to not get rid of all exhaust gasses during low rpm.
ОтветитьVery helpful thanks 🙌
ОтветитьThe Japans are geniuses.
ОтветитьWatching your videos on psychedelics are pretty awesome, so vibrant
