I checked the comments and no one seems aware of the "pound of flesh" reference. It is a reference to William Shakespeare's play "The Merchant of Venice" where Jew Shylock lends money to Antonio and as payment collateral asks for a pound of flesh
as the two were enemies in the past!

Not only is the delivery of the line "MY WIFE!!!" absolutely perfect, Micheal's entire facial expression and body language down to the absolute extreme subtle details completely change. He goes from being cordial and relatively calm but serious with a fairly blank expression, to you almost being able to see his blood boiling under his skin. The veins in his neck pop out, his forehead tenses, his eyes widen and become more fixated on Matthew, he goes from standing very still to lifting his heels off of the floor and shifting his shoulders around and leaning closer to Matthew like a barely restrained angry dog on a leash, then he starts getting close to Matthew, invading his personal space, picking up the knife and gesturing with it all the while barely holding himself back from just killing him with it. Absolutely INCREDIBLE acting.

The man looks to weigh in at around 125 pounds if he was dressed in clothes fully saturated in water.
So best guess? He starts in the love handle area near the hips, the buttocks, maybe even some thigh meat before it dawned on him that a hand or foot is his only hope of reaching the goal weight as Bunny stands patiently watching.

Other than that, love the movie, one of the best movie. Definitely Richie's best one, and also one of Mathew McConaughey's best performance
