Excellent as always Kieran, I feel at this point, a Bimble over to Sunderland Point is needed. There you will find history, tranquillity and Sambo's Grave. A great excuse to be politically incorrect, and no none can lay a finger on you. Like I did when I passed by Greenway Key in my Kayak, former home of Agatha Christie, and reminded everyone of her novel entitled 'Ten little Niggers'........🤩

Kieran did you know that just the other side of Lancaster Priory are the offices of Paley and Austin (1868 -1944) ....... Not a lot of people know that🙂

Great Bimble. I've only just noticed that if you drop the M from Bimble, it becomes Bible. No wonder you like churches ! ! ! Many years ago I had a trip to Glasson Dock, so it was great to see it again. Looking forward to the next Bimble.

This is my neck of the woods, good to see you coming down here. Even though I bear a real grudge against Beeching it's a pleasant walk/cycle. Just for some info during the 1984 Miners Strike Glasson was a scab port.
