I read a block of text once. It was called a book.
ОтветитьOmg! the last hour and half, I was crying with laughter 🤣🤣 Thanks Sean for this!
ОтветитьAffirmative
ОтветитьCurrently 35 minutes in - I wonder how long it'll be before Day9 figures out how to balance the game audio volume lol (my current guess is that he needs to adjust the HUD audio levels)
ОтветитьDogs insta-killing units did nothing to help my brother's childhood fear of them
ОтветитьI like how the planes do their full airfield traffic pattern when landing. Upwind, crosswind, downwind, base, final. All the while you're screaming "hurry up and land!!".
ОтветитьOne of the funniest RA play sessions ever 🤣
ОтветитьWell it is a war game - if it's not being unfair and trying to kill you, it's not doing its job 😀
ОтветитьPro tip: when asked why you didn't follow the instructions, don't say: "No one reads instructions" unless you want to portray yourself as having the brain of a lemming.
ОтветитьI miss the days when you had to plead with your units; " Don't, Don't, Dooon'tt!"
ОтветитьKane? that was clearly Yuri
ОтветитьTotal War still allows you to adjust the game speed
ОтветитьWow we went sooooooo much BACKWARDS since then in game design. We went like 3 steps forward in thingsl ike UI and balance and then like kilometres (or miles if ur USian) back with things he is describing, and which can be summarised as "treating a player like a non-retarded adult'. Like, yes, its amazing if the game lets you just LOSE cause you got into a 'cannot do anything' situation. Or when you have to BUY MINIMAP - sounds liek an amazing idea, really. Cant grasp what happened between like, 2000 or 2005 and today but it was sth not too good :<
ОтветитьAllies next, great fun as always with Day9!
ОтветитьThank you, watching this has dispelled any notion that I want to play this game again.
ОтветитьTrust nobody. Not even your own units.
ОтветитьOne memory that always comes to mind when I think back at Red Alert is when I played multiplayer with lots AI and after like 5mins into the game everyone went berserk. You could hear the battle all over the map and saw the list of defeated enemies rain in haha. Then it went all quite and then you knew the enemy was heading towards you which often meant you were about to die because they NEVER STOPPED COMING.
ОтветитьIn Germany we have very strict laws regarding showing nazi symbolism. Especially for some reason in video games. So when we played this back in the day in Germany, the scene where Einstein meets Hitler was complete cut out. So all you saw was Einstein disappear, then reappear and then saying "Hitler is out of the way".
It's also very funny that Einstein has a very strong accent when speaking German – being a native German ^^
sigh He doesn't kill hitler. He displaces him in time. Massive difference
Ответитьgot my missile launcher right here
ОтветитьIs it just me or does the nod voice sound just like Paul Bettany?
ОтветитьLol you’re terrible
Ответитьwasn't there an ant mission and any chance you'll be playing red alert 2?
ОтветитьI wish Day9 would do one of these streams playing Total Annihilation.
ОтветитьI'll never forget..
"I got my missle launcher right here!"
Red Alert was my first ever RTS. RTS became one of my favorite genres of games because of it.
ОтветитьWhere's the rest of the Soviet campaign?
Ответитьfirst game i ever played vs on over a network. (playstation network)
ОтветитьNo one:
Day9: Runs harvester away from engineers
AI: Runs over army with harvesters
That opening theme always got me pumped!
ОтветитьOh man it was painful watching Day9 not immediately kill that radar dome that was calling in the reinforcements for the Allies.
ОтветитьDamn, I forgot how cringe FMV can be. Like a train wreck you can't look away from.
ОтветитьThis is going in my favorites just for the moment with the ore miners xD
ОтветитьDay9 really likes to hear his own voice dosen't he?
ОтветитьI laughed so much during that last mission. Oh Tanya...
ОтветитьJudging by the video views... no one cares about Magic: The Gathering.
Ответить300 instances of 'wow this game is so old and also not Starcraft huh'
half the time attributing flaws that still exist in Starcraft and many modern games anyway.
Like, can he just begin enjoying the game at any point.
It's taking me a very long time to get through this video.
Oh, the memories! I was in my first year when the first one came out of college and my history professor (favorite teacher ever) played this as well, and we would spend the mid-class break talking about C&C. It was a highlight of my school day. So glad to be diving back into it. With the remastered versions of various RTS games, hopefully we're entering a new renaissance of the genre.
ОтветитьThis is a 5 hours long PSA that this game was not made to be played on Hard. They balanced the entire thing around Normal and then just cranked the numbers.
Ответитьlove you day9
ОтветитьDude ,,,, your such a bad player . lol
