Dear snare drummers. You don't need to hold taiko bachi like a real drumstick. It's quite different because if you do use your pinky on the back of the bachi, it stops the roll movement (how taiko no tatsujin !NOT DRUMMING! rolls work is where you pinch your index finger and thumb around the stick, nothing else on the stick. Your finger and thumb becomes a pivot for the stick to move up and down via drum bounce. This is not double stroking, you are using 1 stick to hit the drum over 5 times in a single hit.) The tatacons cannot roll because their material stops the sticks from bouncing.
Taiko bachi is also 2x thicker than Western drumsticks. Also the drum is so solid and rubbery compared to a snare, a pinky behind your stick would really hurt. You CAN play taiko like a real drum, but taiko no tatsujin's rolling ends up way more efficient than proper drumming techniques because it takes less effort. You literally only swing once for 10-14 hits.
That's all!
I actually just got the offbrand one in the beginning. As an amateur taiko player who didn’t really want to sink more money than I had to into this game, it works really well for me. Maybe I will get the more expensive controller later on, but I’m happy with the one I have for now.
ОтветитьI remember the first time I played I was at the YMCA and there was this Japanese kid who had just moved to America and I saw him huddled in a corner with his iPhone5 and he look like he was so focused. I just had to ask what game you playing he showed me and I was so intrigued. I had no idea what this game was but loving rhythm stuff and routine. It just brought me in and I begged him to show me how to get it on my phone because it wasn’t in the App Store so after making a new Apple ID in the region of Japan, I finally was able to download it, I had no idea what the language was, and how to read and navigate the game, but he showed me all I needed to know and since then I’ve played almost every single version of taiko I just bought it on the PC as well and the next project of mine is learning how to build a arcade home version of taiko I can’t wait 🎉❤ cause I can’t afford the actual arcade and it’s way to big to fit in my apartment
ОтветитьMaybe you should check out the iine taiko drum pro max
ОтветитьWhat bachi do you use for the YUANCON TAIKOFORCE? they look awesome. Did you black tape them for better grip?
ОтветитьThe unofficial drum can hith both sides at the same time
Ответитьhello , i think its time for you to post a new review for the lv6 Tai ko drum and the steam PC version Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival
ОтветитьAre you going to compare these to the PS5 one that's being released next month?
ОтветитьI played this game
My local arcade has one with Ninja Boys song
I grew up with the ps2 game (funfact that was the only english voiced acted one in the franchise to my knowledge) and I've been a fan ever since but my old ps2 drum is all covered in pen markings because child me wasn't very... bright 😅 I'm glad they are still making the drum controllers
ОтветитьTaiko force is good LOL
Ответитьi mean the brandless one is pretty good for being a knockoff
ОтветитьI use another kind of rolling because my bachi can’t roll well. Because of this, I use a technique where you hit fast while dragging it down for a bit. This works really well with low roll bachi.
ОтветитьAre there drums for ps5?
Ответить$50: Dobe
$75: Hori
$380: Taiko force lv 5
Anyone knows how to charge a hori drum?
ОтветитьSeeing her play big notes with only one hand hurts my soul
ОтветитьYugen no ran giving me the trauma...
ОтветитьI really want hori one plz
ОтветитьMm mmm
ОтветитьWhat pc game is that
ОтветитьWii u?
Ответитьdoes anyone know where I can buy the Taikoforce Lv5 drum?
ОтветитьDrum rolling is a thing on real drums btw
ОтветитьThe legs on the official drum are actually removable, you just need to apply a lot of force to do so unless you have the stick in the middle connected to both of the side legs. And no, I’m not talking about the drum sticks.
ОтветитьThe technique you call "Rolling" is called a "Ruff" on an actual drum kit.
Ответитьfun (or sad) fact, the 50$ Drum costs MORE THAN 380$BRL in Brazil.... Really, really fun....
Ответить@tokaku, any recommendation to buy the complete set for Switch (Game + Drum)? Thanks.
Ответить英語が上手ですね~
ОтветитьWho else thinking “380 FOR A DRUM!!!”
ОтветитьCan you give me the small one
ОтветитьThe Taikoforce lvl5 is "Curently unavailable" Is it worth geting the drum that comes wit the game or shud i yust forget a bute it ?
ОтветитьThe drum moving was my biggest problem I had with the ps2 one back in the day. Not much has changed. lol
ОтветитьThe cheaper option is fine and it's actually quieter compared to the other ones
ОтветитьI have a Taiko Force Lv5- I adore it, but unfortunately... If you live in America, you can almost double that price tag 🥲 worth it though
ОтветитьIs there a way to play this on PC with custom songs? I'm trying to get into this game but i'm having a hard time finding info
Ответить50 bucks is still too much for a controller you use for one game
Ответитьwhy use different stick to test the drum ?
ОтветитьI could not get the brandless drum to pair with my Switch 😢
Ответитьwoww
Ответитьwhattttt
ОтветитьLegit jawdropped at the price of the last one 😭
Ответить太鼓フォース公式出ましたね。
Ответитьno clue why this showed up on my feed but for some reason i watched the whole thing
ОтветитьCan i use the other style sticks with the hori drum? Or is it advised to stay with the sticks that come with the hori drum?
ОтветитьI really wish I had watched this video before ordering the $50 drum last year. I had one for ps2 in high school(still do), and it was SO sturdy. Needless to say, I was crushed as soon as I opened the box and felt the pad. Not only highly unresponsive, but also flimsy, loud as hell, and can't get the offset calibrated right.
ОтветитьPut practice pad grip on the drum for the roll
Ответить
