Great tutorial! I kept putting off learning CAD because of the high cost per year, but the free version of Fushion is more than I will ever need. I’m 70 years old I am already learning CAD at a good pace. It’s a learning curve for sure. You must be considered an expert! I’m curious what you do for a living, and why you stopped making videos?

I feel like I'm the only person that finds this frustratingly difficult even though i have experience in fusion

this is an excellent video and so very helpful. I sincerely thankyou for taking the time to make it. I love the way you explain everything is such calm, slow detail making it easy to follow, however I am thinking my computer might not be able to handle it. I keep having a hard time being able to select the icon on the timeline. When I double click it, it doesn't want to select the item on the work plane. Sometimes it will but not very often. Is there another way to select the cylinder?

By far the most informative and understandable video I have watched on Fusion 360. Thank you so much for NOT talking and moving as fast as theaters I have watched. I am just now, at my advanced age, trying to understand CAD. you have helped me realize that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

and rendering ? do you need another modul for rendering ? in solidworks 🤯 you need extra sw visualize for ca. 3000 euro 🤯 and the sw standard programm vor 6.000 euro 🤯🤯🤯 or per abo 4700 euro per one year. i hate SW !

when I finished the basket and tried to see both the boiler and the basket, only the activated one is shown more clearly and the other one doesn't have the colour and only lines.

I have never seen a worse video.
You move at the speed of sound, You literally lost me within 5 minutes,slow the hell down, Explain what each command is!

I’m having a issue, when I put the threads on the piece they’re almost like … see threw like there’s not enough thickness of material and the threads are cutting thru the material … can you help me fix this ?

You click on things too fast sometimes even watching it multiple times I still can't figure out what you did. Otherwise good video.

I've been using Freecad to learn on, and have been frustrated by it simply not working. I have wanted to learn 3d modelling for so long but have been hampered by rubbish software, and the limited options for the Mac.. All of the Freecad pain is now turning to joy now I can apply what I've learned to a software that works, Fusion 360. What a fantastic program, simple, easy, not glitchy, it does what I expect it to. Really enjoying learning it now, it's so fun. Thanks for the tutorial, you are a great teacher, I appreciate that you show different ways to do the same thing. All the best! Andrew

I wasted 1 yr learning to draw solids with Fusion 360 and was transitioning to CAM ( I am a CNC Machinist ) when they pulled the plug. I was really pissed because I was about to purchase a CNC Router for Hobby playing. Now I want a 3d printer and still no CAD that is affordable so its time to give up on those dreams. Since 360 is cloud based, they could determine who was abusing it and cut them off, NOT ME !!!!!!!!

How do you switch back and forth from select to dimension so quick?

Just completed this tutorial and my project turned out great. Thank you so much for walking me through this. I did run into one slight problem toward the end when making the lid joint. I can select the center of the pin, but cannot select the center of the hole in the hinge. I ended up selecting the face of one of the outside holes and then just offset the whole thing until it was centered.

difficulties in 13.50 nothing is selected automatically after hitting revolve button can not cut anything.

When I'm making the lid and have made the shape for the spout, I can't trim all the lines from the circle that is equal to the outside rim. It appears the circle intersects with the inside lip of the collection chamber and breaks it into two pieces (on each side of the center construction line). When I try and trim, it will let me trim 3 of the 4 pieces (2 on each side). It leaves one of the pieces furthest from the center line. Please help!
