Actually they just did the hard way to eat the Dried Squid. In Vietnam, we usually use charcoal or firewood to heat it, then we shred it thinner just like Pulled Pork. We dont eat that THICK.

When I lived in Korea, I loved going to the small stores. They would have whole, dried squid hanging from the rafters, and you could tear off how much you wanted and pay for it. It was so good. Just one of the many things I miss from over there.

I really enjoyed my Don Quijote experience from when I was in Japan, but most of the snacks I picked up were either at Family Mart, Lawson, or 7-11.

They call it Don Don Donki here in Singapore and they are in almost every shopping mall I went to. I go there to find snacks too. I love the warm roasted sweet potatoes as well as their mochi and taiyaki ice cream. I get it all the time. 😋
