Creepy old abandoned farmhouse in Eastern Europe? Yes please! (Actually our second...)
In the wilds of East Slovakia, tucked away in a tiny village, with amazing views of the Carpathian countryside, we again take the plunge and buy an unwanted traditional socialist-era farm cottage. It needs a lot of work and has a lot of wildlife but with some TLC it'll make the perfect getaway location for anyone trying to escape the rat race, even for a short amount of time. Just needs water, electricity and an outdoor toilet first.
It's a DayZ IRL dream come true.
You don't get much more off grid than this.
