I am not getting thick decoction with 80:20 but I am getting it fine with 60:40 . Where am I going wrong with 80:20 ,how to get it thick

How can we store balance decoction..can we keep it in refrigerator and use it as nd when we need...please advise

It is a very basic recipe. She didnt mention some important tips to a tasty filter coffee such as
- the water shud not boil. It shud be in the stage where it just starts bubbling
- once you add the coffee powder you shud have to press gently with the plunger
- the decoction shud collect for atleast an hour to get good coffee.
- a tea spoon of sugar shud be added in the filter itself to get the sugar caramalised in the hot water
- decoction and milk ratio shud be 1:3
- wash the filter with hotwater to clean the dried residues of past filterings
