What map is that?

For early levels people need to accept taming lower level resource dinos, defense dinos. A low level mammoth, dodic, argy, bronto, and or rex (etc.) is better to get early, easy, and Level them up until you have the gear to tame higher ones. Don't be picky at early levels. Take what you can get to proceed faster. Through kibble and other advanced methods etc. Also taming pens or rafts are a safe bet for a newbie or veteran.
