I have a theory on why c!Sam changed his mind and threw c!Ranboo into prison. (Warning, long read.)




So my theory on why c!Sam changed his mind and locked c!Ranboo away is because of one of the crimes that he did while sleep walking. While there are multiple crimes that he did while in that state that could be the reason, I have a theory one one pacific crime that he did that makes the most sense. Think about it, what crime as c!Ranboo done on the server that would negatively affect c!Sam the most and the server as a whole, well there is one…c!Tommy’s death. Think about it! c!Tommy is one of the most beloved people on the server, (as much as he screws up, the majority still care for him), including c!Sam, who really was good friends with c!Tommy and when word got o of his death by c!Dream in the prison, he was in complete grief and so were many of the others. Ik it hasn’t been revealed that c!Ranboo commitment the crime while ender walking, it was pretty much confirmed because look at the facts, there were only a few people on the server during the whole incident and only one of them having the possibility of breaking c!Dream out, and that was c!Ranboo, and since we know that c!Dream can control him mentally somehow, he made c!Ranboo set of the explosion on top of he prison, setting of the alarms and locking the prison down, all so c!Dream can manipulate c!Tommy into his puppet again, but when he failed he had to go with plan B, which was killing him. Since c!Ranboo was one of the leading cause to c!Tommy’s death, it would only make sense why c!Sam went from liking c!Ranboo and not putting him in the prison to go absolutely 180 on him and why he thought c!Dream would listen to him when he threatened to kill c!Ranboo in the escape. Okay that’s all, if you made it this far, then congrats and that was my theory on why c!Sam changed his mind and threw c!Ranboo in the prison.

I was watching that live and i had the weirdest reactions

I see a lot of people concluding that the ghosts of dsmp members are the opposite of the members them selves.
I'd say that when you die on the dsmp it splits you in halve by your characteristics depending on their negative emotions: (sad/anxious/mentally insane/controlling/aggressive)
when you die in the dsmp, you get sent into the void when another part of you,
the ghost or memory of you walking around, or ghostboo in this example, is all of the positive emotions: (happy/helping/empathetic/confident/nice/energetic/chaotic good)of ranboo,
ghostboo isn't actually ranboo, which is why he's practically advertising death, and can just disappear. Real ranboo (the ranboo with both negative and positive emotions) is in limbo and as days go by in real time, ranboo is going through weeks of pain. the pain of limbo is going to eventually start nullifying ranboo's positive emotions leaving only a giant ball of anxiety, sadness, worry, stress, and even himself. what i mean by that is that his other halve has been trying to manipulate the entire body himself because they are to distinct people or things. idk about you but for me this would be the perfect time to take control of another halve of ranboo as his mental health is getting worse and more venerable.

lesson of the day is: SOMEONE REVIVE RANBOO BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

edit: before anyone gets mad at me and relates wilbur to this explanation, ghostbur is his own person.. technically. ghostbur is based off of wilbur's happy emotions, since wilbur had no real sense of confidence, ghostbur couldn't be too confident at all. even though ghostbur is based off wilbur doesn't mean he IS wilbur.
thats why its most likely that ghostbur swapped places with wilbur when he was revived

Sam and Bad dying is part of the prison mechanics. When the guards are summoned to the prison they're immediately killed so they can quickly get rid off whatever items they had in their inventory (which get stored in chests through hoppers) and get automatically equipped with their guard sets and they're good to go. It's obviously not canon death.

@HotSauceBeats The reason why Ranboo stayed is probably because sam had info about his son’s were about, so he used that against him and threatened him.

Sapnap and George wanted to kill Michael after the elytra event. In the end Hannah challenged them to a bedwars game against her and Punz, where the loser had to kill Michael. While they were playing, Eret hid Michael, that's why he wasn't there. We don't know yet how Sam got to him. Btw they confirmed no one was actually gonna kill Michael, they were just messing around lmao. It's kinda cool that they actually incorporated that into the lore
