Wow!
Ответитьjust wow
ОтветитьIt's great, but ecovillages are better.
Problem here is the lack of connection with the ground itself. No shared sense of community
Best building I’ve ever seen!
Ответить"Man builds structures that are rigid, geometrical. They tend to be more and more disconnected from the earth."
Tell that to those trees that are 10 meter above ground. Trees interconnect via the soil. It looks nice, but it's inherently fake.
These trees are there simply for the pleasure of the inhabitants, not for the trees themselves. They have become props.
Never put trees in boxes!
does it have open sidewalk balconies on every floor?
ОтветитьI imagine it takes a good amount of maintenance to keep everything alive and under control but it is really beautiful.
Ответитьwhat city, country?
Ответитьwhere is this?
ОтветитьWas this done by a single owner or a group? This had to have cost many millions of dollars. It is Beautiful and genius.
ОтветитьAbsolute fantastic!
Ответитьamazing
ОтветитьThis. Is. Amazing.
Ответить😍 I do NOT think I can say it enough -- I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this channel. 😍
This condominium is magical, modern, urban, and natural. Such a glorious and gorgeous paradoxical design. The water management system is absolutely mind-blowing. It does, however, make me look forward to a few things which I would love to see as eventual "evolutions" from this --
1- an integrated modern city version of composting
2- toilets that are modernized to have composting toilets (no water use at all)
3- solar glass windows (new tech for the 21st century)
4- water recycling system for the gray water.
I don't know if already exists but a condominium that is as close to "self-sustaining" in its design system for its water and power usage, and for its food and waste production. The issue which comes up whenever any kind of infrastructure is built at this level of (technical system) complexity and with the shake sidings is, of course, the maintenance/upkeep. I did not see any solar options for its power source. I am curious how much of the condo electrical cost is shared/split among the owners. It would also be nice to see a comparative cost breakdown of:
1- how much did this cost to build
2- how much is the average cost per square foot to rent/own a unit compared to other comparables (as close as one can get)
3- how much the average electricity is compared to a typical condo in the area.
Thank you, Kirsten, for another wonderful episode.🥰
Beautiful!
ОтветитьAbsolutely amazing. I bet this video doesn't do the building justice. The architect deserves some serious recognition. Imagine if every building used similar design. The air would be cleaner and depression among urban residents would be greatly reduced
ОтветитьOK but impractical and expensive.
ОтветитьHhhhhhhmmmmmmm I'd have planted fruit tree's to provide food for the residents.
ОтветитьIncredible!
