A number of states in the U.S. stipulate that the listing agent and buyer’s agent in a real estate transaction must be separate parties. In Arizona, however, we’re authorized to practice what is known as “dual agency.” In essence, this means that real estate professionals such as myself can work on behalf of both the buyer and the seller.
