How to Develop Innovative Architectural Concepts

Well getting a concept is not really easy to find but after having taking a long glance into this video something popped up in my head.

Architectural Programs and Concepts ALWAYS need to be tied to a business plan! A business plan is a document that outlines a company's purpose, and mission. It proposes a business strategy that highlights goals and its ideas for achieving them. It outlines how a firm can succeed. The business plan addresses competitors , financial projections, market research, staffing and critical technology needed for production. A pro forma summarizes income, expenses and profits. Net present value is used to determine whether or not an investment, project, or business will be profitable down the line. Essentially, the NPV of an investment is the sum of all future cash flows over the investment's lifetime, discounted to the present value. Architectural & Artistic Design only has value if it creates a competitive advantage in the market place. Design is a hygiene factor in our society. It is not an end in itself. Ultimately all developments must be profitable or they will perish. Your video misses these key concepts. Please consider adding basic business principals to SURVIVING ARCHITECTURE.

Hey if anyone can help me out,im having a hard time grasping this “concept” idea.
Does concept really have to only have 1 keyword and everything design will be relate back to the “concept”
I get it if I have to show it in terms of forms but how about space planning? does it have to relate too?
How far do we have to follow this concept thing in our design?

thanks those tips really helps me . rn i dont know what im doing . i lost track of my project and keep getting rejected by lect while others are prepared to do final board and model . i dont even have a firm concept to begin with . im frustrated . the only thing that i could do is to not be sad and just rise again and come back stronger , fight and never think about failure. just keep going and improving
