If you lived in the states you would get the knock! Ppl would call in on you or think you was messing around with there stuff only place really is to sleep at a rest stop the same one truckers use

To me, what might help in deciding how to fix up a van would be the things you tried and they DIDN'T work. I'd say maybe one or two a month maximum. You video so many other things we enjoy as well. But, a few here and there would help the newbies and the wanna-bees decide what to do.

I like you explaining these things once in a while. Like this video you added a new perspective cuz your rig is no longer "stealthy". So not quite the exact same content as you did when you first started. But channels that constantly or only do "van life how to" type videos all the time can get boring after a while. So a mix of your regular "day in the life" vlogs plus "vanlife" education is perfect:)

Chrome I admire the life you live and the beautiful places you go to. The difficult part for me would be funding a place to park daily. I so appreciate a home base. I am living vicariously through your vanlife journey.

I’d like to hear more about the basics…again. Partially because many things have changed, I.e. so many new products geared towards van lifers as well as the stories from some campers saying that they are no longer welcome in many areas, especially north-eastern Canada.

Chrome, yes. A back to basics would be nice. If you can cover basic power, security, pets, cooking, what works and what doesn't. Just a basic overview of essentials to make vanlife a bit more comfortable for those who are starting. We have lots of displaced people due to natural disasters and this would be a great tutorial

Do you let the authorities know a bear is in the area? So they can RELOCATE the bear or at least put out an alert for citizens and keep it from hurting anyone?

It’s been a minute since you’ve featured a tour of someone else’s van. Discussing the basics can come up with different ways people go about them.

Can you make a play list of the basics? If the basics are reviewed, that's just more videos subject mater, right.

You do have a wealth of information about living in a van full time. This seems to be something that more and more people are having to "choose" whether they want to or not as housing has become such an issue of late. Have you ever considered pitching a show idea to something like the Knowledge Network? I have no idea how that would work, but it seems like an extremely relevant topic. You would make a great host for such a show and you could include not only your own knowledge, but that of other long term van-lifers. Just a thought.

Something you may also want to touch on is how things are done ( differently) by region. Following the weather and such. Folks in your kneck of the woods do things vastly differently than the majority of Van lifers down here in the lower 48. Super interesting.

well, i hiked a lot and it was a spade then,.... that would work too, to save using up bags and cleaning up etc, if your in a isolated place.

A couple of moose ran around the Boston suburbs this summer. People got great video. Apparently, Massachusetts has around a 4000+ population. Crazy.🇺🇲🇨🇦

I was thinking it would be interesting to see videos of Amanda’s process of building out her van. The thinking and the doing. Along with your helping with the thinking. An expert advisor and a newbie who is also a woman.

Nothing says van life like a curtain behind the seats or window covers.
Work vans have a bulk head or nothing.
You can remain invisible in any car with slightly tinted windows and a black sheet over your head.
