Wild how everyone thought this truck would be a bad thing for Tesla and other electric trucks and now Rivian is officially going bankrupt , awesome truck but couldn’t sell em.
ОтветитьI am sure glad this wasn't a case of rich enough to buy it but not smart enough to drive it. Whew...I was worried..by the way..Mike is a nice addition to your already too cool crew. Fun to watch all of Uze All..hahaha
Ответитьev...= end of vehicles... to bad the smell of 110 octane is permanently burnt in my nose. long live the chevy big block
ОтветитьElectric OHVs are truly the fat pigs of the community! Too much mass!
ОтветитьEnjoying your show
Great visuals of your countryside & your trucks
Steve 👍👍🇦🇺😎
Just think of the people who carved the earth to create those batteries...
ОтветитьMaybe the Rivian should use Bronco tie rods? LOL
ОтветитьWere there any issues with welding on a vehicle the is elctric?
Ответитьnote to self: lots of torque finding traction is how things break.
ОтветитьICE always rescuing toaster cars.
ОтветитьI guess i get the whole EV thing, but do they always have to make them so damn goofy lookin?
ОтветитьWhat tranny do you run in the mater? It's got to hold up to so much stress. How many miles do you get between rebuilds/replacements?
ОтветитьGreat job on that trail rescue, seams like that truck needs some E-lockers.....
ОтветитьElectric Vehicles are not saving anything, because the require electricity for charging. Gas/Diesel much better.
Ответить7018 3/32 rod?
ОтветитьThe wheels on the Rivian are made in china? I know lots of things are but I didnt expect that I guess
ОтветитьHave you ever had to back up on a one way trail, while trying to get to a customer to give your service to?
ОтветитьWhen the rivian tow truck coming be a cool build
ОтветитьAnother great video. I will be ordering a T-shirt for sure. I think a poster of Mater, in his element, would be very popular. I'd love to have one.
ОтветитьThat is going to be HILARIOUS when 5the rcoveries become bringing a generator to charge their electric vehicles! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
ОтветитьWoooh for success~!
Ответить👍FROM CADILLAC MICHIGAN
ОтветитьSounds like an airplane. Nice job Trail Mater
ОтветитьYour equipment, knowledge, experience and you as a person and especially the way you convey all of that is truly amazing and absolutely authentic! Keep it up!!
ОтветитьYes sir, camera persons on all the recovery channels really gots ta hustle
ОтветитьI grew up in a family owned towing and repair business in Spokane Wash. I went on many wrecker calls to assist my step dad in recoveries. Rory's videos bring back a lot of cool memories.
ОтветитьDid anyone notice when he was welding the rod that the RIM was made in CHINA?
ОтветитьThe footage shot underneath the rig is really cool. Watching the driveline and suspension work over the trail...
Lotta people do "out the window" shots, and a few set up the occasional "drive over" where the camera is planted in the trail ahead, but not many hang the camera over the side on the fly and shoot the action "where the rubber meets the road."
That's a 3 1/2 ton truck to tow out of there and all tow points on vehicles do a rigorous testing with kinetic towing
ОтветитьRory, I honestly hope you make millions, you are a master of your craft, they don’t teach your craft in college. We get to see some amazing scenery, some amazing driving and on the spot engineering. The Park Service should have you on retainer, can you imagine the mayhem and destruction the average Joe would inflict attempting to do your job. 👍
ОтветитьThere is everything ok making that arc on that ev! Truck?
ОтветитьEver fry a computer arc welding on new computermobiles? I’d say, disconnect ground… but… even if that’s normally right… can’t do it anymore probably.
ОтветитьYuppies are so STOOOPID
Ответитьlol
ОтветитьRory, Can't wait to see ya at the Sand Chutes with Traimater,Pual and Grandpa Sherman Wrecker going too,Dont forget Casey and his tracked Jeep. Be there or be Square. God Bless
ОтветитьThe best of the best series is needed ❤
ОтветитьI've been watching all the older episodes, trying to catch up. I have to say the more I watch, the more impressed I am. For me it's the way Rory performs his recoveries. His ingenuity, not causing more damage to the customers vehicle. The way Rory, Shaun and Mike work together is very fun to watch. If you haven't learned a new trick watching these guys work, you might need to watch them again.
ОтветитьHere's a question. How do you isolate the battery on an electric vehicle? Great Job as always!
ОтветитьThere’s something beautiful about the latest in hi tech being rescued by a battle scarred warhorse like Trailmater.
ОтветитьSickest tow rig ever
Ответитьsome folks like to disparage EV's but... this one drove from WA to the middle of UT, wayyyy into MOAB, and only broke, it wasn't stuck or on dead batteries, MOAB breaks lots of stuff... Anyway, the Rivian's are not meant to be trail rated, it says a lot that a bone stock truck even made it that far.
ОтветитьWas just wondering the other day if anyone had taken an EV like a Lightning, Rivian, or Cyber Truck out to Moab yet.. Guess he found the weak link on those small tie rods, although they aren't marketed as offroad vehicles.
I live a few hours from Moab and have been wanting to take my Z71 on some of the trails. Is Trail Mater running a spool in the rear end? Noticed it chirping the tires a lot so assume it's fully locked.
Subscribed to your channel. Love seeing offroad recovery like you and Matt (in Hurricane) do in Utah.
Love the way you can Spin Trailmater around
ОтветитьRory and Mike to the rescue..
You don't see that many Rivians on the trails.
Rivian has to be to gayest vehicle ever!
ОтветитьI ran fins and things a few weeks ago and its difficult. We were on 35s in a built rig. Bone stock vehicle like that ?? No thanks thats exactly why. Broke down city.
Ответитьa great job guys.
The Lord Bless You and Yours
Rory singlehandedly kickstarting the Rivian off road upgrade market!
Ответитьyou would think with a E.V it would have E LOCKERS LOL
Ответить
