ОтветитьI'm currently working as a Chat Center agent. It is my frist week. I only take chats and only a few times in the day I have to make outbound calls to customers. I love the way that you don't deal with hearing angry customers over the phone yelling at you. But the counter part or downside with this is that you have to be very skilled with the multitasking as I take 3 chats at the same time, so you have to deal with 3 different situations, 3 different processes and 3 different outcomes or solutions.
ОтветитьThe chat/email reps I've dealt with often answer immediately with a long cut-and-paste (sometimes irrelevant!) with a link response and then immediately ask "have I answered your question?" or "[i]s there anything else I can help you with?" My answer: "I don't know as I haven't taken 5-10 minutes necessary to read what you sent me!!!" I like the fact that you answer the customer's question DIRECTLY in simple terms first and THEN provide a more detailed "see also" link reference afterward. Your approach gives a customer the luxury of accepting your simple (yet complete) answer and/or clicking on the link for more info if s/he wants it either immediately or at another time.
