Good film but unnecessarily lengthy.

This is a smart concept turned into a dumb movie with hilariously bad acting. As someone previously stated our Sun is too small to Supernova, but it can flare. In this movie, it was masquerading as a Supernova, flexing its flare when mathematically it was discovered to be a fraud and so it stopped, Apparently, it was only mad at Los Angeles as the ending scenes displayed lush greenery and flowing water untouched by the fraudulent Supernova...

Good movie! Just think the serial rapist/murderer was a bit unnecessary.🙄 and a lil bit much on the BS. But still liked the movie regardless.

Supernova pt 1&2 not my chosen way to go.

This simply highlights that there is no solution to what the future holds in store for the earth. There's literally nothing anyone can do to predict when that comes.
Solar flare or Asteroid. No one knows. But there are people on the Left that think they can fix anything, given enough money. And they will try. I wonder how long
it will be before Progressives and Environmentalist realize the only way to effect change for their global warming agenda, is to eliminate countries that pollute.

Came here for the thumbnail, stayed and was treated to an interesting end of world scenario movie. Spoilers:solar flares threaten to destroy the world but the sun doesn't explode as predicted. 6/10 for no big kaboom.

Stop the sun from exploding. Even a sci-fi movie has to have some possible reality. Nuke it is the normal American solution. Till kingdom come it would be just 'phtt' if you fired 1mill nukes at it, maybe a miniscule burp. I've not watched it yet but I'll try.. phtt...burp...

Useless movie, Is that Sun destroyed all those things for mistake in calculation and when it was corrected suddenly Sun stopped the destroying... Meanwhile there is criminal story... Bull Shit movie...

This movie sucks hard.

Good film but such inconsistency in location. One minute they're in England but scenery shouts USA plus they have guns? People can't carry guns in the UK. I assume the guy on death row in the States as there's no death penalty in England but somehow he's ....in England? Some cars have US licence plates....but they're driving on the left hand side of the road but some cars have UK number plates?? And the scenery! Nothing like that in the UK. I could never figure out where the billy hell they were. Oh, well. Other than these glaring inconsistencies, the film in and of itself is worth watching with some pretty good acting. Just ignore the schmaltzy ending ending.

Not sure I'm keen on the horror story subplot being mashed in.

Unfortunately,, our sun is too small to explode as a supernova. That destroys the base of this story from the very beginning. They could build it with just the storms.
