🚨 Watch out for accounts posing as me saying there is a giveaway. It's FAKE! My real account will always have verified checkmark next to my name.

Do street photographers never use their viewfinder? It's a much less stable position imo and normally these back lcds aren't that great. Maybe I'm missing something or it's because I use a DSLR but I'm curious because I see it more and more often.

I tend to use a 150 to 500 lens for street photography

I 1000% needed this video. I am subbed; however, I had fallen asleep. So, the video was about 25 minutes in when I woke up. I said nah...! I need to watch this from the beginning, and I am glad that I did! This was Great!! Salute to you and @professorhines. I'll be subbing his channel as well. 💪💪

I just have to say I'm SUPER BRAND NEW to photography, so new that I'd be considered a newborn 😂. You and Professor Hines provided a clear, concise and easy to understand guide to taking photos. And your chemistry is RIGHTEOUS! You compliment each other very well. And I 100% agree with someone else's comment that this should be on HBO or Netflix. Absolutely incredible guide. Thank you both for taking the time to teach us. And really look forward to any more videos you two do together. Just phenomenal!! ❤❤❤ Love it, love it, love it! Love everything about it!

I keep coming back to this video for so much inspiration. I love it :)

Just out of curiousity - when you're "capturing the moment" - whether with street crossings or the chick running along in sunset - do you use burst-shooting to compensate for fast-moving objects like that massively long pendulous pony-tail, etc., ... just to help get it in the perfect light? After all, if you rely on "once chance" then it really is Hit And Miss over something like hundredths of a second, right?

While some activities might be "perfectly legal" it still doesn't mean they are OK. We don't have to look far back into history to get some examples. We can look into some examples from Nazi Germany. Or we can even find some contemporary examples from countries where it is "perfectly legal" to drag a woman to a public square and stone her to death, because of her husband's injured pride.

I love that you shoot lower. I have been shooting the same way for over a decade and my photography is awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed the professors contribution to this video.

This is just what I needed to boost my confidence in street shooting. BTW - I just saw a video about longevity and in cultures where they squat instead of sitting on chairs, they are healthier longer. So dang the knees and keep squatting 😅.

Kinda hard to get a bad shot with that lens. The lens alone costs more than most people can afford.

How do I find my own style? Every time I watch the work of these top photographers I get inspired but confused. I just keep jumping from one lens and one type of processing to another and get bored if I stay with the same style. It’s driving me crazy and reducing my enjoyment of photography because I am never satisfied with my photos as there is no consistency.
