I was so impressed with True Detectives Season 1. I'd never have expected Matthew and Woody Harrelson delivering the best acting I'd ever seen, having been mostly familiar with their early work. Next level. Too bad they didn't do more seasons with them. Could have been different roles and time and locations for me. The actors would have pulled it off and the series would beat anything on views.

The friends we all have you meet them true every day life we stumbled upon them we didn’t go out looking for them. If we did we wouldn’t have them because we would waste to much time and effort and it would blind you and ware you out. I think it’s the same finding a parter their going to be your best friend aswell so why should it be any different. Marriage is about friendship everything else is only second.

I've always had a lot of respect for Matthew McConaughey. He seems like a real genuine person and clearly has a good head on his shoulders and never seems afraid to give his honest opinion on things even if it ruffles the feathers of those in his industry (the Hollywood types that bully others in trying to adopt their own ideals).

It's also reassuring to hear that a man that been honored as one of the sexiest men alive still struggled with dating and finding a proper mate.

Been married twice and I can still say (with confidence!) that I haven't met "the one." At 55, I know the likelihood of that happening is slim to none. I really wish I had trusted myself more and had more self confidence to avoid one or both marriages...but hindsight is 20/20. I'm currently stuck in a marriage where I'm incredibly unhappy...and feeling like there's no way out. Fat, old and hopeless is no way to live......

He could throw a rock and hit a woman who would fill that role but when your moving in certain limited social circles which stardom happens it limits you of good honest people

God will show us the door but we have to open the door. I also think that various opportunities will appear multiple times in our lives. Many of them will not align with who we are. This is where faith comes in. Passing by temptations/possibilities takes strength and discipline. A short term sacrifice for a long term vision makes perfect sense. This seems to be a common theme in multiple areas of life: education, business, sports, personal growth and relationships.

There's a very important lesson to be learned in all of this.. Never get your jeans pressed.

Totally agree, I met my husband in a moment Ic reached my 30 and decided to invest my time energy and money to be happy by myself then my life totally changed, I changed the country the family and created a new life with him
