The Mexia supermarket was torn down and a Dollar General was built there I've been to the Dollar General a few times and honestly the place is kind of spooky I looked it up on Google Maps one day when I need it to get there and it wasn't even listed as a Dollar General it's listed as Mexia Supermarket which is kind of weird considering it shut down in the 90s

The supermarket incident really pisses me off more than anything. Aside from the health hazards it posed to the public, all that food went to waste. They could have had a clearance sale or told a charity to come and take everything.

I remember during the 93 LA Riots, a helicopter news team filmed and lost their composure while a different trucker than the one who survived, made the news and stood with Rodney King. The news at the time was showing footage of the Roy Horn attack taken by and audience member. It's so far away that it's not graphic. The audience doesn't scream because they can't tell what's happening. As crew come onto the stage to assist Horn then the audience becomes loud as now everyone realizes something is wrong. I'd never heard Horn's claim of the tiger trying to help him but it's total BS. A tiger doesn't know WTF a stroke is.
