They are perennial clowns. Many years of laughter. They love to hear humans laugh. Ditto about what everyone has said of being very protective of children. They LIVE for children.

Our boxers growing up would stand between my mom and us kids if they knew a child was going to get spanked. My mom eventually had to put them all outside before punishment happened.

My Daughter and son in law have a male Boxer. He is the best! He's like a little baby. He barks at everything like a tough guy. But..when she brings him to my house my 8lb female cat will hiss at him and he hides behind us and whines..hilarious! He loves Cats. He lives with a Siamese cat. He's very protective of their 13 month old son. When my Grandson cries he gets very concerned and kisses him.

I’ve owned 4. 2 males and 2 females. Have found that females are much easier to work with and not as high strung as the males. GREAT family dog and protective of children, family and house. I wouldn’t have any other dog other than a boxer around children. That’s coming from experience of owning a boxer with my 2 daughters and now my grandchildren.

I've had the privilege and pleasure owning 3 of these clowns, hands down best dogs I've ever had
