I am so unbelievably stiff so I was not able to even stretch the little bit you show. But still, I will say that even this small gentle effort on my part took my pain down from around 5 to 3. That's pretty darn good for as much of a mess that I am.
I will do this a few times today and I bet I will do a little better each day.Thank you for this.

ОтветитьI was quite free of pain for a few weeks then I tried throwing the discus with a full rotation...a shooting pain started at my left foot and reached the trigger buttock spot... Ouch, so I am back to these helpful exercises...

ОтветитьI think this is the last of your sciatica/hip/lower back videos I've watched. They've all been very good. This one goes into my "top 10". I do one each day over 5 days, and also do some upper body strength exercises. Then have a rest day. Then do the next over another 5 days. I'll definitely continue doing these even after I completely fix myself. Getting there...
I try and do these exercises in the morning and also go for a walk in the afternoon. Even managed to do an e-bike/pedal assist ride at the weekend.
These exercises are extremely helpful to me. Thank you so much

ОтветитьDr. Rowe so fortunate to have found your videos. Have had Sciatica for a few years from an injury doing Pilates. Tried Physical Therapy exercises for the SI Joint and eventually had relief. Then recurrence of symptoms and diagnosed with Sciatica. Now performing your Sciatica, SI Joint, and Piriformis exercises and getting real relief from symptoms. Thank you so much! Marilyn
ОтветитьI’ve been suffering from sciatica for 10 yrs and 9 yrs ago I had 2metal rods put in my spine to straighten scholiosis if the spine wer I was leaning to the right and I wish I had never had surgery as I gave gad nothing but problems ever since…my spine was straightened but not aligned with pelvis so I was still leaning to right just with a straight spine but since op i have suffered terribly with sciatica and it is both legs to the extent my right leg gives way…I have walked with crutches for 9 yrs now am developing a hunch leaning forward and find it difficult to hold my head up…my sciatica has been bad for about a wk now wer it is bringing me to tears…

ОтветитьOn my bad leg, when I put my foot on my knee, it feels like it completely cuts off the blood flow to the calf.
On my bad leg, when I do the nerve floss & tilt my foot to the right, the left side of my foot gets numb & tingly.

Not sure if the pain I’m experiencing is considered sciatic pain as the pain is centered at my left groin area in the crease where my leg meets my pelvic area; a sharp pain upon standing up and walking.
Though I have experienced sciatic (shooting) pain in the past few days, today that’s not the case.
The sharp groin pain started out at the beginning of my fall at my right groin; moved to both right and left and now is centered on the left..only a little sporadically on the right.
I have been diagnosed by my chiropractor with 2 bulging discs @ L4 & L5. This occurred after taking a very hard fall on my Right Hip in a ceramic floor shower 10 weeks ago. The fall was so hard I had to walk and work on a cane for the first 4 to 6 weeks..
Any insight you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

ОтветитьOmg. I literally could NOT stand up straight today and get out of bed to even go to the bathroom. Woke up with this unbearable pain on my left hip out of nowhere, I got so worried for not being able to move so I bumped into this video, exercised on the floor next to my bed (that’s the place I could reach!)
Suddenly I was able to stand up straight again and walk. The JOY! of pain relief made me feel like I should leave a comment and say THANK YOU! 🙌🤩
