Bravissima, finalmente una suite inglese che non è suonata come se fosse un saggio di dattilografia. Credo che lo stesso Bach sarebbe molto compiaciuto per la Sua esecuzione e grazie anche per aver ridato dignità al pianoforte nella musica di Bach.

i love this version and it's exactly the one that brought me to this wonderful piece. i immediately fell in love with the prelude, but after listening to Martha Argerich's version, i've come to noticed there are many personal interpretative touches that feel a little bit out of style. personally, i don't find that a bad thing in fact quite enjoy it! just an observation. Great performance overall

Me parece extraordinario que los mortales de esta época tengamos acceso a esta forma de apreciar y disfrutar la música. Pienso que es la parte más noble de las nuevas tecnologías, trasmitir el arte y el que hacer que le da dignidad al ser humano.

This is a wonderful tempo and interpretation., leaving room for at hoc ornamentation.

Over the last 30 years or so the pianists have turned this into Czerny…starting I think with the young Pogorelich who plays about 130. She is returning to the tempo and style of the great harpsichordists.

I know the work more than well and I play it. Although she makes what she plays sound good, we must be clear that it is a very personal and debatable version in many places. But it is worth as a free and own version.

The prelude was a very bumpy and choppy ride. Needs a lot more subtle nuance and more stylistic articulation. The Allemand could use more articulation as well -- too legato, and overall needs more expression. Sounds a bit robotic at times. The Courante was pretty solid and stylistic, although she misses quite a few ornaments in this dance. The Sarabande was pretty good. Captures the style and some nice embellishments; could use a little bit of restraint here and there though instead of always just ploughing through. Bourre' 1 this dance probably suits her ploughing style of Bach playing best. This grape stomping dance can be attacked, and she does that. Bourre' 2 her choices or rubato in this one are weird and uncalled for and definitely disrupt the flow. The Italian Giga, honestly she plays this quite slowly -- especially for Italian style, and the articulation is very predictable and not creative. The guige was probably the worst dance of the whole suite. Not exciting to listen too.

Wow, just from hearing the prelude so far, there is so much character in this interpretation. She brings the majestic quality out of what seems like just a fun (extremely fun) dance piece. Some humor as well. What remarkable choices of dynamics, articulation, rubato, ornaments...and good clarity in counterpoint too. I feel like I am listening not just to a pianist but a well-rounded individual as well. Avdeeva brings so much to this piece. Wonderful

YULIANNA MAKES THE MUSICAL SENTENCES AND PHRASES SO CLEARLY MARKED WITH GREAT SENSITIITY TO THE STRUCTURE. I LOVE TO HEAR HER PLAY PIANO.

YULIANNA HAS THE MOST WONDERFUL RHYTHM AND EXIBITION OF THE FORM OF THE VARIOUS MOVEMENTS WITHIN THE ENTIRE SCOPE OF THE PIECE.
I LOVE TO HEAR THIS TYPE OF GREAT MUSICIANSHIP. SHE REALLY HAS A UNIQUE QNIQUE NOT HEARD SINCE WANDA LANDOWSKA.

Out of the all of the recent winners of the Chopin competition, she's seriously underrated, with substantial and profound musicianship, alongside technique that served the music. She plays Bach like how I would imagine, with lots of dynamics and character contrast. Yes, it's not how purist would play, but it's certainly much more colorful.

Perfect in every way. Very musical, and I admired all of her tempos. It's a very difficult piece, and one has to give her credit for her stamina and energy.
