Maybe instead of forcing the player to sleep you can give them exhaustion or let them sleep in a tent or something because it would feel annoying if you couldn't get too far away from your base

ОтветитьLove the idea of this game, looks really fun, and honestly a cool thought since I’m just seeing this for the first time, I think possibly some rimworld aspects for materials gathering and community building. There’s my two cents after never playing it lol, I can’t wait to play it though
ОтветитьYeah I always hated the 2am limit in Stardew. It felt punishing for exploring when I had to try and meticulously plan to explore and gauge my travel time, but not too far that I couldn't get back in time and I was always racing the clock. I think it would be cool if there was separates sets of activities or quests. Ones only available at night, ones only available at day and then the player can choose how to progress.

I'd suggest dangerous human patrols that go around at night to encourage players to sleep, without hard code forcing them too.

ОтветитьOne small suggestion - when placing structures or fencing, it's just pop out instant and I think it's not gobliny thing. It should have transparent structure kinda blueprint then goblin will hit the grid , then walls should be created. You can find the reference from survival games like valhiem type games

- Orcs and Trolls are similar to goblins, maybe a combat/mining NPC?
- Instead of waking up the next day at a set time, make it if they pass out at 4am they have to sleep a number of hours (e.g. 7) which means they will wake up at 1 the next day, restricting the next day. Sleeping earlier (e.g. 9pm) would mean they would wake up at 5.
