I liked the series for the most part I just wish you had shown the chimney pieces being put on instead of just describing it. The whole point of buying a video is to SEE it done. The other chapters were good.

Does anyone on here know what type of wood stripping i should use between my shingle and metal roof? Will yellow pine work good? I know pressure treated will rot metal roofs.

Wouldn't the horizontal stringers trap condensation and rot the untreated furring strips ? At the least some thin verticals should be run then the horizontals. Now condensation can find it's way to the gutter.

I just saw your video on installing metal siding. Very helpful. I have a metal building that I would like to add a lean to the side. My metal is installed vertically. Before I install the ledger board what would suggest I fill the space for the difference in the rib height? Thanks for your help.

We are renovating a commercial building we bought for our business...we are looking at Premium Pro-Tuf PVC to cover the interior walls but the cross section is the same...I am excited.

Question is can you use butal tape or caulking silicone down the seams of each panel to prevent water from seeping underneath

So screws never goes on the ribs right?
