Functors are not Functions with added symbols.

In fact, Functions are considered Functors of the Category ‘Set’. (An alternative definition for Functions is the classic: Mapping of parameters to a input (there is also a Uniqueness of mapping property)).

But yeah. I think Functors are named poorly— good thing we can still call them Arrows.

I have never been understanding functional programming. Perhaps I really should check out some basics of category theory (we had functional programming in university, but no category theory) to understand it better. If I even want to, which I'm not sure about.
