It's all about ground clearance and surface area of the contact patch between the tire and the road.
Conventional tires give you the contact surface area about the size of a CD while this thing turns that into the size of a boogieboard.

Too flimsy and those track will fail when a branch get in between or you drive in to a hole..
It is just as fast to replace wheels for tracks as it is to fiddle with these until you can drive on them...

If these things actually work, this is friggin awesome.

1. It's super heavy, 357 LB per piece and not easy to load, unload, transfer ...etc.
2. Installation is not that easy and takes at least 10 minutes, this if you do it right from the first time.
3. Price is $$$$
4. I've watched a video of dismantling and it has a lot of parts, making it uneasy to maintain.
5. It looks that it limits the ability of vehicle to speed.

In brief, the concept is great, however it needs a lot of improvement before it becomes reliable.
