Warlords was always my favourite. Mechanics wise it was the simplest but the devs really did such a good job with atmospheric dread that was absent from 2 and 3.

Nice job on the run mate! I remember this game being fucking hard!

For Fortinbras I always use 3 normal attacks into the magic attack with Bishamon sword

Also Raizen magic attack always guarantee to bring him down

On ultimate mode you can just spam it no risk whatsoever against Fortinbras, he never stood a chance, in normal and easy it would be a way to guarantee eye/head attacks

i love Onimusha and played only Part 1 and 2. Somehow i skipped the 3rd one but played the 4th again. and i'm sooo happy they will release the 2nd soon in a HD Remaster Version.

Can someone clarify the line ' Clan of ogres that were subverted by demons'? Sounds like machine translation. Are they oni spirits that were corrupted? Killed? Literal ogres as we concieve them here?

I got stuck the first time I ever played this. In the forge that hanging lever you have to pull. I missed it and ran alllllll the way back to the beginning before returning and shamefully seeing the glint of usable item .

To this day the water trap in the castle is one of the hardest puzzles I have done in gaming and I still haven't figured out a consistent way of doing it.

Just beat onimusha warlords ready for onimusha 2 went through memory lane with this one.
