hi which scan tool will correct the obdmeter speedo mileage and recode car keys for my vauxhall meriva 2013 1.4 cc

Doesn’t work on older cars such as the mk1 Audi tt and also tried it on the Audi a3 2010 and that failed too although the tech support said it would work. This tool can also read dtc’s so ok for a novice start pack but we’ll need more than one machine to do what we need or pay £5000 for a decent one 😫

For those who are saying you have to mention it’s illegal, it’s only illegal if you’re dishonest but If you have a bad Ecm and you swap it out with a new one it will make your odometer show as zero miles if you get it reprogrammed, some shops have the greenlight to correct it but if you got 5k or more to get your odometer to show the correct mileage then be my guest go pay that amount lol. Keep thinking everything is illegal. Only dishonest people make helpful tools like this illegal

At least in the U.S. there is exactly one legal use for this tool: after replacing an odometer (or gauge cluster, as the case may be) to set the odometer to a reading equal to the value the old odometer had. Or set it to zero, and add a label to the door jamb indicating the mileage when the odometer was replaced.

Doest this only do the odometer? As when you check mileage it compares to the amount the car has driven like the gearbox

It may reset the Dash mileage, but dealer scan tools can read the other locations in the vehicle where mileage is stored

Its says all cars but does not work on Vauxhalls

This is simple make sure everything works and everything it’s not all that’s it miles don’t matter as much as the quality parts on the vehicle and replacement dates of parts
