The irony is that Prad Pitt's character ends up being the reason for only one of his crew members surviving when they all could of survived.

The comments on this are interesting.

They are mostly from people who are sitting in a warm chair looking at a war movie, saying how easy it would be to hit something.

Remember, guys, a hell of a lot more ammo misses than ever hits anything (better in this day of drones and radar guided stuff, but even that misses at times).

My dad once went deer hunting and, after daylight, decided he was ready to leave the woods, not having seen anything.

He slid down off the big rock he had been lying on, having unloaded his lever action .30-.30.

He came down face to face with a deer about 30 yards away, calmly looking at him.

With shaking hands, he quickly reloaded the rifle(tube magazine, 5 rounds), cocked and fired. And again. And again. 5 times.

The deer stood looking at him then slowly walked away.

And it wasnt even shooting back.

Trembling hands in the terror of combat only have to move a rifle or a gun a fraction of an inch at barrels' end to send the round flying feet above or below the target.

What a conflicting movie to watch. It was wonderful to watch real tanks being used instead of mockups, but their strategic execution was so lacking, especially that one scene we all hate. Show me long range combat. Hilltop to hilltop. There's a whole other fear with trying to identify and return incoming fire from who knows where.

"Hey hey start shooting." "Where do I shoot at." "The NAZIS DUMB FUK!" That scene got me rolling 😆

Just fantasy, the reality was different.

What I like about this movie is that they made the firing look like lasers from Star Wars

Movie captures the intensity but the tactics are absolutely terrible. 88’s would be on flank and off the line. They were so valuable. Not gonna put them close to danger. They would not fire one cannon at a time. Machine guns and SP cannons would be moved to flanking positions.

The most irritating character is the boy acting he's walking around in park not in a war field if someone does the same in real war i beleive he's gone for sure on rhe very first 2 sec

The only thing accurate here in this movie is DAYLIGHT!!!!

1.who waits in open battlefield dugouts to get blown to pieces ? 2.The german artillery guns were missing targets in less than 500 metres (thats impossible) 3. the guy with panzerfaust was he writing poems in middle of the battle ? 4. The commanders sitting with turret open would have long been dead buy a well aimed sniper . These scenes are unrealistic .That is why I rate SPR as the best and role model war movie

The Germans were not this R-Word'd. Go ahead and cope as much as you want, the producer of this movie is mentally challenged 100%
