Just watched your video. Better late than never. I have watched many bike tour videos because I plan to do one. I do day bikes on rail trails. But time to step it up. I have to say your mindset and mine are the same. I know I don’t need the high end gear. I also like to stop and smell the roses. Not in a rush. Thanks.

bike tour isn’t really in the cards for me at the moment but on my days off i’ve been doing 30-50 miles going either north south or west it’s fun to spend a day out on the bike even if i’m not sleeping under the stars

Thank you for making this video. Today I’m picking up a second hand bike with the idea to train for a 3’200km journey around the coast of Ireland 🇮🇪 the most I’ve cycled to date is 60km in a day (followed by 2 or 3 days of pain 😂)

My main issue is just time off from work. It is really hard to justify taking a lot of time off when I could be doing a family vacation or going to visit family. Also, I like to reserve a few days in the winter for long ski trips (I live in Colorado).

Planning my first bike trip in about a month from now. First time overnight camping on a bike and ill do it about 7 days straight on the erie canal. Ill post back when im done with it. 360+ miles
