I just see your video, thank you for wonderful advices sir . 🚲 😊
ОтветитьMan very true i love biking, its the best you get to feel the world. Thank you
ОтветитьThank you Ryan! Helpful and inspiring! I'm very keen to get back into this type of adventure... just wondering if do it alone, with my family (wife, kids 8 & 10) or a friend. Or all of the above! P.S. I was in Honduras 2001-2002! SE6 Volunteer! Nice to see you pop up here... Richard tried to hook us up on FB about 10 years ago when I was living in Sweden, now back in Aus.
ОтветитьIt's good to rewatch this one every so often.
ОтветитьHey Ryan, i salute you! What can you say about my plans...at 67, having a heavy (1125 WH) Dual Battery 85 Nn Bosch Highspeed 45kph...140kg Total weight (My Weight 70kg, Panniers35kg and Ebike 35kg) Plus water! Hard to do? It is my first time! Thanks for your Tips
Ответитьhi i have a cheap bicycle steel frame with 26 size. but no any mounting brazen i want to convert it into touring bicycle
ОтветитьJust watched your video. Better late than never. I have watched many bike tour videos because I plan to do one. I do day bikes on rail trails. But time to step it up. I have to say your mindset and mine are the same. I know I don’t need the high end gear. I also like to stop and smell the roses. Not in a rush. Thanks.
Ответитьbike tour isn’t really in the cards for me at the moment but on my days off i’ve been doing 30-50 miles going either north south or west it’s fun to spend a day out on the bike even if i’m not sleeping under the stars
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьHave you ever heard of Darren Alff?
ОтветитьThank you for making this video. Today I’m picking up a second hand bike with the idea to train for a 3’200km journey around the coast of Ireland 🇮🇪 the most I’ve cycled to date is 60km in a day (followed by 2 or 3 days of pain 😂)
ОтветитьAvoid hills and inclined roads lol
ОтветитьWhich taillight do you use? Thanks! 🚲
Oh, and what about one of these 🦺
Thank you Ryan
ОтветитьThanks Ryan! Your enthusiasm is infectious. I love biking and I am newly retired. So, with your encouragement, here we go!
ОтветитьVery complete raw and helpful guide
ОтветитьDefinitely, absolutely, no doubt about it... Inspiring! You got a talent for inspiring Ryan
ОтветитьInfectious!!!
ОтветитьMy main issue is just time off from work. It is really hard to justify taking a lot of time off when I could be doing a family vacation or going to visit family. Also, I like to reserve a few days in the winter for long ski trips (I live in Colorado).
ОтветитьPlanning my first bike trip in about a month from now. First time overnight camping on a bike and ill do it about 7 days straight on the erie canal. Ill post back when im done with it. 360+ miles
Ответитьcrappy winter weather out there right now. Raining cats n dogs, winds ripping through. Your video bought a smile to my face. Looking forward to spring so we can go bike packing!
ОтветитьOk you convinced me with the train horn 😂
ОтветитьDude is so american
ОтветитьGod bless you for the encouraging heads up !.
ОтветитьBean and cheese barritto.
ОтветитьWhat about peanut butter and honey mixed together.
ОтветитьI agree.Saddle bags , over trailer , for air traval.
ОтветитьI have experience , with saddle bags. That are too big , which means too much drag.
ОтветитьPanniers. Are great.But.Make it small saddle bags.
ОтветитьI have 30 speed bicycle.Called .Roll.
ОтветитьWhat about panniers.
ОтветитьAh To be young again...
Ответить🎉 6 / 22 / 24 🎉 you keep giving me the inspiration... it is happening, winter... BAJA 🎉 ole ole ole oleeeeee😊
ОтветитьDefinitely inspired Ryan, thankyou for this video 🥰
Ответитьlol inspiration and reality are two different animals!! Be careful!
ОтветитьWow! I think I remember you from Waylon's! I plan on biking across America in August and super nervous especially doing it alone! This was definitely motivating!
ОтветитьHe’s just high 😂😂😂
ОтветитьTreads 😂😂
ОтветитьYou have hemorrhoids 😂😂
ОтветитьTo cheap to get the bus 🚌 😂😂
ОтветитьTalk to the locals in Spain and they will misguide u
ОтветитьThx for the vid
ОтветитьBro looks like an actor
ОтветитьThis video is so wholesome. the last 2 min were my favourite hahahah with the happy dance!
ОтветитьI am going to ride from San Francisco to Mexico to visit all the California missions this summer!
ОтветитьGreat video Ryan, i am going now on my bike, jippeeee 😅👍
ОтветитьI’m only 17 years old and I’m already planning a several day long bike journey for when I’m in my 20s. This video made me at least ten times more excited for that upcoming adventure!
ОтветитьI love you and Jesus Christ loves you, as well. I ride a stationary bicycle in my garage. I love your video. At age 72, I know; old bones heal slowly. But, my next venture will be to go to Spain. And, I will study in a University. I needed the extra vote for courage. You say that you worked as a Peace Corp volunteer?
ОтветитьAs a former Peace Corps volunteer, my reaction to hearing Ryan mention that part of his life surprises me zero. Perfect kind of guy for that. Do that bike tour. Do that Peace Corps volunteering. "Toughest job you'll ever love", the PC motto, sure applies to bike touring, doesn't it? Go Ryan! You inspire us all!
