Garrett "Pro-Pointer II"

Great information on a great product.

good morning I have a pinpointer Garrett switched me there is some solution to fix this problem grabbing it conpre three years and I thought that was moist but moisture thanks

I love my Garrett AtPro and the propointer. This new product looks cool and thanks for some tips :)

Think i stick to the god old one, no problem with it and never had :) It still go nuts on tiny tiny objects. Had it for a year now and guess for another 3 :)

Had to send my origonal in for repairs. maybe they will replace it with this one!

If you were going to make the Pro pointer better you should have added a D Ring to the Holster like White"s and Deteknix have to attach the Lanyard too. Garrett Rocks!!!

Some nice new features

No point. The new carrot is water proof and same features. Wash that a few times and it's done. Same rubber button, new style lasts longer on the carrot. Great products though own both

I like new products but it seems to me that the "2nd generation" Propiinter is just a dumbed down version of the Propointer AT. I have had the "carrot" for a few months now and love it. Works great, even underwater. To me the waterproofing feature equals peace of mind. Not sure why Garrett did not consider this to be a priority on a new pinpointer design. Hope they are inexpensive....

I still dont get why you limit these fine tools by shipping them to new users with those crappy Heavy Duty batteries, the manual itself tells you to use Alkaline batteries! As the owner of the new waterproof AT Propointer I find this version irrelevant

Whats the big deal ? It's a renamed AT Propointer,which I already have and love ..

I actually have two of the Garrett pin pointers number one version both of them false because of the wiring inside not being shielded correctly has Garrett addressed this issue with the pin pointer 2 ?

Is the speaker hole liable to let water in ? As it was under the running tap (faucet) do we need to be very careful ?
