I like the fact that pretty much every iconic bit of re4 that was cut from the remake was just given to Ada, gives SW far more of an identity compared to the OG SW.

sorry im a big fan of the classic RE games and in my opinion Resident Evil starts his downfall with 4. It whas a realy good game but no longer a Resident Evil Titel !! even worse are 5.6.7 and 8 ! i want my Horror back not this Action Bullscheiße !

Here i am watching that many people are fighting over remake is best and other half saying original is better, In my opinion both game are best in there time.

This is now much more aligned to the movie

I love Leon, but I think it makes more sense for it to be Ada. Shes more nimble and lighter on her feet.

I know some people will say nostalgia blinded by reading their replies, but they doesn't want accept the truth. Original Resident Evil 4 is still on the top, and I'll explain why the remake didn't really good as you guys think and who says I am blinded by nostalgia, then you are blinded by modern games because of graphics and not even GTA 5 has the amazing graphics.

First of all, where the lasers came from? I mean, the lasers spawned through the walls and this laser room doesn't even have that thing where it can connect and turn on the lasers like the original version has. Capcom didn't even tried... So unrealistic...

Second of all, who is this new monster who we can't kill him and we only need to escape from him?! Are you sure this is a "mini-boss"? And where the monster came from?! It came nowhere! And this new monster is not from original version, never saw that! How Capcom got these weird ideas?!

And third, don't let you lie about 10/10 IGN scores, all new modern games have 10/10 IGN scores and they doesn't care about scores, but more details, because the details are the most important. A REAL remake should have more details, but I see the original version has a little more details than remake. The original Resident Evil 4 is still superior than remake.

And yes, I know the laser room fits for Ada, the laser room makes more sense for Ada because Ada is more acrobatic, agile, flexibility and bla bla bla... But even Leon is more acrobatic and agile as Ada, and Leon made all HIMSELF in original version only to save Ashley... They say the laser room fits for Ada and it makes sense only to make an excuse to defend Capcom and this remake and even to simp Ada. Of course I love Ada too, I have nothing against her. But this laser room makes more sense only if Capcom put both Leon and Ada in remake for the best experience and I wanna to see how Leon react when he sees a new monster coming nowhere and the laser room. I wonder if the modders are already working to replace Ada in Separate Ways.

Oh, and also the Separate Ways DLC costs €10 where the original version who has PS2 is already included the Separate Ways for free... Excuse me Capcom, are you working with EA to release more DLCs like The Sims 4 or what? And really people is going to buy for €10? I mean, 10 Euros isn't so much, you're right. But maybe €5 is a good deal.

Anyway, the remake is cool, but the original version is still superior. You prefer remake? And I prefer original. Oh, and also the original Resident Evil 4 (2005) is still on Steam. While Ada does make more sense, The original is animated far better imo. Ada's dives are very floaty and have no real weight to them
