Goddddd just imagine a HD remaster/upres remake like metroid prime remake. They go and clean up some stuff, redo some textures. Take my fucking moneyyuh 💲💲💲💲
ОтветитьPlayed DAO for the first time this year and instantly became one of my all time favorites
Ответить"Maybe you should be put down" to the nana. I knew then it was a good game
ОтветитьThe silent protagonist in games like this with full cutscenes where everyone is talking you just stand there like an idiot is so immersion breaking. Like Bauldurs gate 3. It doesn’t mesh at all and takes me completely out of the experience.
ОтветитьI wish they'd hurry up and release DA:4 or a Remake of DA:O with all it's DLC included. Like I feel it's the easiest cash grab of all time because 90% of fans would be happy with the smallest upgrades just to replay it again. Like 1080p 60fps would be nice, imagine if it was 4k though!
I would love for them to do something like what was done with Demon Souls or Dark Souls.
As excited as I am for a new game in the series the older ones are still my favourite, in order. 1 is the best, 2 is nostalgic and fun, 3 gave me hundreds of hours of fun while I did a 100% completion run with all the DLC.
By far the best series for me followed closely by Dark Souls and Bioshock.
Thanks for the intro. Could you also help compare this with this year’s bd 3? I guess both are good but just having limited time to spend, then on which? What’s your favor one?
ОтветитьIt's ARR Thancred!!!
ОтветитьIt is indeed a awesome journey, i think i played and replayed about 8 to 12 times, i was totally obsessed with this lore back in the day, never going to forget!
ОтветитьI felt like throwing up playing DA2 after the awesomeness that was Origins.
Ответить🥖
ОтветитьI've never seen anyone advocate for voiced protagonists in RPGs. There are very few games that have the luxury and pull it off (The Witcher). I hope AAA studios stop trying to have it.
ОтветитьBalf Couslan 😂
ОтветитьAh yes. The only Dragon Age game. Hopefully they make a sequel at some point
Ответитьlooks like mass effect convo wheel
ОтветитьHonestly still the only dragon age I like
ОтветитьDefinitly one of the most overrated Games of all time.
Ответитьdamn I miss the old bioware...
Ответить"There's only two genders" Well said
ОтветитьI haven’t seen the video at the time of posting this but after watching a retrospective for the game I used gamepass to get it and I can say I have enjoyed it even after several play throughs
ОтветитьYes.
ОтветитьDragon age origins is my favorite 7th gen game.
ОтветитьTitle says 2023, video says 2022.
Ответитьim just waiting for rtx remix mods before i hit up old favorites again
ОтветитьBeen wanting to replay this for so long but the game is basically unplayable with crashes as soon as I load in. I've tried every fix in the book that's not exclusive to the Steam version, but nothing has worked at all.
ОтветитьIm finaly playing the entire series for the first time and iv got to say where i enjoyed origins fine enough i think i prefered 2 as a hole. like hawk was a soo much better character for me and the combat was soo much more fun. ik that most fans of the series would dissagree with that but honestly 2 is my favorate in the series so far. havent got to the 3rd game just yet but from what iv heard it sufferes from alot of the same issues as mass effect andromada so i probs wont end up changeing my mind about 2.
ОтветитьCan you play this on ps5? I’ve only ever experienced dragon age inquisition on ps4 and ps5
ОтветитьThey don’t make ‘em like they used ta
ОтветитьBeen playing Origins for almost a decade now. Beaten it more times than I can count, and its one of my favorite games so I'll throw in my two cents if you wanna listen
Firstly, combat. I used to hate it, and I still don't love it, but playing tabletop RPGs has given me a much greater understanding of things like attack bonuses, buffs and debuffs, etc. So now I think it's pretty okay, with my main complaints being that there's a lack of impact with weapons, and the AI can be quite frustrating and dumb at times.
Next the story. Origins is a great example of a story you've heard before told really well. A great evil spreading across the lands, the warrior monks that fight against it, the lost heir reclaiming his throne, these are all tales you've heard, but retold in a unique way. Plus the Darkspawn act as a legitimately terrifying threat.
Aesthetics are a...mixed bag. Some enviroments like Orzammar look amazing and absolutely sell the world. But others like the many many Fereldan castles you explore blend together visually. Same goes for the genersl design, but I cut slack because this was the first in the series and they were still learning
Music and audio is so good I won't say much on it. Soundtrack is phenomenal, as is the voice acting. Special mention to Steve Valentine as Alistair, Claudia Black and Morrigan, and Simon Templeman as Loghain, they all turn in some amazing performances
I've played DA:O 4-5 times from start to finish, always as human noble, LMAO! Never even knew there were other prologue stories
ОтветитьShort answer: absolutely yes
Ответитьdragon age origins combat is the best
inquisition feels bland with no tactics
I tried to play DA: O but combat pisses me off... I can't play it because of it... I'll wait till Bioware release some legendary edition with simplified and better control
ОтветитьMorrigan remains the best rpg waifu of all time. Fight me
ОтветитьI do a playtrough every year 😍 🔴🟥 Sounds silly but: The Dragon Age series helped me immensely to grow in real life 💪
ОтветитьI think this was better at its time than bg3 is today
ОтветитьI think a DAO remake is better than DA4.
ОтветитьYou are missing the right way to play the silent protagonist, you voice-act the lines yourself! with as much feeling as you can get :D!
ОтветитьI was deceived by the PS3 trailer back in 2009 and expected real-time battles. After the first disappointment I had fun, also the fact that blood stuck to the avatars in the cutscenes was a nice detail.
In the end I even played through it again on PC in 2011. Great Game!
Nope
Ответитьtldw; YES
ОтветитьI’m on my first real playthrough of this game. Only 5 hrs in. I’m shocked at what’s happened so far. I’m hooked. This game is a staggering achievement in the rpg realm.
ОтветитьSeems I need to start this game
ОтветитьI tried Dragon Age Origins years ago, but never finished. I enjoyed the story, the characters, the origin stories, the RPG elements, I agree with everything said in this video. But the combat really put me off. I like real time combat where you control one character, like in Skyrim, Witcher or most other similar games. Much later I also fell in love with the turn based combat in Divinity Original Sin 2 and checked out some other games like that. But I really couldn't enjoy the system of Dragon Age, with controlling four characters in real time. You either control one character and you lose, or you have to pause all the time to check each companion, which I found really tiresome. Maybe I was too young for it at the time, but I never came back. It just wasn't for me. I think I'd absolutely love the game if it just had turn based combat instead.
ОтветитьThe only thing about going back to DA:O after 2 or Inquisition is that the mage combat, at least the basic attacks, just feel too slow and wooden now. Apart from that, Origins will forever be the best game I have ever played thanks to the lore, dialogue and characters.
ОтветитьIt's like playing inside a ridiculously intricate novel. Plus, Alistair. Nuff said.
ОтветитьIts the ONLY A+ dragon age game
Ответитьyou always go all in on any conversation skills in any game that has that option
ooh you didnt even mention that your save transfers to the next game, and then to the next after. thats a huge amazing part about the game for me, it opened my eyes to how much of the game there really is
love this game and still one of the best rpgs and definitely the best entry in the DA series
ОтветитьOrigins is the best dragon age game
Ответитьgod watching people click instead of keybind, its no wonder people dont like the combat
Ответить
