To become a profitable in start up business right now is easiest part, the toughest part is to run business and raise for funding.

Frankly speaking, groceries and consumers did not need such a service . Pandemic induced situations led to this. Ppl went out and got the groceries, as simple as that.

They started of with delivery , then quick delivery and it all fell apart.

I worked as a delivery boy for zepto..they paid just 15rs for an order (bicycle). On average I earned around 225rs for a day. It was really not worth for the work you done.

Becoming a unicorn is not a success metric. Valuation is sort of an mutually agreed number based on hype.

End of the day it would be 3-4 players market. Dmart ready is poised for a long term game due to their price advantage and operations. Free/fast delivery at a discounted price is not a sustainable model. The moment these apps move to MRP , most people will move away
