Loved watching this show as a kid every week. And now as an adult im grateful i can binge watch it on streaming. RIP Harry
ОтветитьBeer was a dollar back then?
ОтветитьI'm surprised that Harry didn't ask Coach if he had two 10s for a 5...🤔
ОтветитьThat $5000 bankroll that Harry is asking of Sam is about $14,100 today. No wonder Sam hit the roof.
ОтветитьI love how Harry gave all of his marks a false sense of security by dressing exactly like everybody's idea of a 1940's hustler..
ОтветитьIf we gave as much money to the space program as we do to him, we would have condos on Venus. Great line.
ОтветитьI was immediately charmed by Harry the first time he walked into Sam's bar. R.I.P. Harry Anderson, the Magic Man of sitcoms.
ОтветитьDon't bother with the captioning...
ОтветитьRIP Harry Anderson
ОтветитьLove that cute little shake of his head at around 0.46 😂
ОтветитьWhenever that low music plays, you know Harry will be in this episode! :D
Ответитьi mis the 80s witching programs like this with my older sister's in front of an open fire especially in the winter my sister's couldn't stop smiling at me while i was giggling at this programme especially when it cames to Harry and his tricks he plays on everyone in the bar and how he loves to Drive everyone in the bar crazy no matter what trick he's got up his sleeve
ОтветитьKeep in mind, Harry had never acted before, yet he created such an instantly endearing character here. And then very shortly after has to do both comedy and drama on his own TV series. Truly an amazing career. :D
ОтветитьLMAO 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьSo great! 🤣
ОтветитьMiss him 😞
ОтветитьHarry the hat was the only role I saw him in😮. I love Cheers. He was class! 🍺🍺. English bob 👍
Ответить"The Mole" was a great episode.
ОтветитьR.I.P
ОтветитьThere were so many good just plain funny people in this show, I think this was the funniest show I ever saw.😜
ОтветитьHarry eventually was thrown out of Boston he then changed his ways and his name going now going by Harry Stone. He eventually got his law degree and became a night court judge.
ОтветитьRip harry anderson
ОтветитьIn Boston, he's Con Man Harry The Hat.
In New York, he's Judge Harry T Stone.
They could have done a crossover.
1 buck.
ОтветитьThe $.10 for the drink under the hat’s my all time favorite
ОтветитьI loved Night Court. But sometimes, I wish they had spun off a Harry the Hat show.
ОтветитьWhat am I a goof? Lol.
ОтветитьSuch a Treat, each time Harry turned up, Always Comical.
ОтветитьIf you really think about it he got away with a beer n still got his $10.00 back, what a Con!!
ОтветитьI grew up in the Bronx, New York when they bush against you, you were picked pocked, the trick is to pick pick pocked them back!!!!
Got you Sucker!!!!
Don't get me started on is this your wallet!!??
This show & Night Court.
ОтветитьAt least his brothers had his back, funniest scene in the movie to me.
ОтветитьHarry is the original hustle man.
ОтветитьCheers and night court
ОтветитьThe average price of a beer today at a bar is around $5. So adjusted with inflation that $1 beer should be just under $3 today. That right there my friends is whats wrong with America today.
ОтветитьSuch a wonderful show. Miss TV like that
Ответить'Course, after he pulled a con on the wrong guy, Harry had to flee to New York where he changed his name and pulled the biggest con of all... becoming a judge. Even so, he couldn't hide his love of tricks & sleight-of-hand.
ОтветитьDuring the day, Harry was a huckster. But at night, he was a judge.
ОтветитьOne of the best episodes.
ОтветитьOne of the Top 10 recurring characters in television history. I'd put him ahead of even Colonel Flagg from MASH...and that's saying a lot.
ОтветитьHarry Anderson is a good actor. In cheers he’s disdained, in night court he’s adored. ❤
ОтветитьHarry Anderson was a warm, gracious man who died too young. I had the pleasure of meeting him in person years ago in New Orleans. I was walking with a friend in the French Quarter on our way back to our hotel room after a night of drinking when we came upon the magic shop Harry owned there. We were staring at the display in the window when Harry himself came out of the shop as he was closing up. We got into a conversation and he opened the shop back up and we sat in the shop as Harry regaled us with stories of Night Court and Cheers and the act he was putting together to perform in New Orleans. He did several magic tricks for us, just close-up slight of hand stuff. Finally, as not to be rude, I bought a magic trick off of him (it was cheap). It's a conversation starter which Harry insisted I needed to break the ice with the ladies at the bars. I still have it and I used it to meet my wife. Thanks, Harry! You are missed.
