ОтветитьWhere do they get the recording from
ОтветитьShould of used a smartphone I'm joking 😀😀
ОтветитьAre you acoustic
ОтветитьThe fact that i could hear his voice more clearly on the 2008 restoration-
ОтветитьWe're listening to ghosts. I love it.
ОтветитьI wonder how many schools used this video for their class for a fun fact
ОтветитьThis is better than 90% of the music being made today .
ОтветитьWE MAKIN IT OUTTA PARIS WITH THIS ONE 🔥💯
ОтветитьI had dinner with someone who collected these early recordings. His weren't as old as these and, if I remember right, were wax on tubes. He kept them in a sewing cabinet so they wouldn't get dusty. Unfortunately, he forgot his windows faced the sunset ... and they all melted.
Ответитьdude these recordings could sound so better with todays tech
ОтветитьEdison's descendants SHOULD be ashamed to be associated with this lying, thieving snake. Alas, they are cut from the same cloth and are addicted to the fame and money just like he was.
ОтветитьI would not in the least be surprised if even earlier examples are discovered. We are quite good at forgetting history and losing knowledge, discarding what is thought old fashioned, incorrect or too commonplace to bother preserving. When our civilization falls the digital things will be lost but some physical recordings might survive for some centuries maybe until the descendants of the survivors recover / discover them. When I was little I found a technical school promotional record buried in the soil and leaves in the forest. It was quite playable after simple cleaning with water.
Ответитьtypical russian mic in cs go
ОтветитьIt was far sighted to have a tuning fork pitch as a time reference. Scott was clearly perspicacious. Maybe he knew his work was unplayable at the time. Perhaps his dream was that technology would evolve and he knew that he was part of it. But maybe he also wanted a visual reference on his work as the waveforms were meant to be seen. The study of sound had many aspects then as it does now, but then they were nascent. There were no oscilloscopes as we think of them, and the same passes to whatever applied to the term 'microphone' back then.
ОтветитьStill better than the mics of people i play with online
ОтветитьWhen your friend's gaming mic sounds worse than these:
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьHow record these voices while there's is no recorder .
ОтветитьAbsolutely better than hip hop music.
ОтветитьJust imagine how many voices of great singers and speeches by outstanding actors and politicians have been lost over centuries simply because the humanity couldn't record sound.
ОтветитьWoah
Ответитьthe first intentional one at least, we have found ancient egyptian speech snippets by using a lazer as a stylus on pottery (dont ask me how i have no fucking idea)
ОтветитьThis story is so sad.
Ответитьstill better than a psp
Ответитьaverage 12 year old gamer mic quality
Ответитьwatch this, then check your For You. whiplash
ОтветитьThe discovery of recording vibrations was incredible, but just as incredible is being able to create a playback device. Events like this are so much more rarer than winning the biggest lottery ever
ОтветитьHow the fuck do people come up with the ideas to record sounds and pictures?
ОтветитьCrazy how long ago this is wow
ОтветитьMan I can imagine what it be like a million years from now listening to this stuff. That will be kinda freaky. Just imagine hearing person sing from 3000 years ago…. But maybe it be so common place people would care much…
ОтветитьPlaying CSGO with Russians be like
ОтветитьHe’s a trash engineer not booking studio time with this guy
ОтветитьThis is still much better than today’s crap music.
ОтветитьIt is quite incredible how far technology has come. We can peer back at these fairly recent points in history when it was a totally different world. Things we take for granted today were only just being discovered. Imagine being around when these things were invented, it must have been incredible. And now look at what we have today, it would seem miraculous to people even 50 years ago. I wonder what’s next?
ОтветитьSounds like my PS5 controller mic
Ответитьbros 1859 microphone is STILL better than some of the microphones in mw2 lobbies 💀💀
ОтветитьУзнаю микрофон Ватоадмина
Ответитьim suprised how much more thomas's laughing and howling? was audible than the actual singing
ОтветитьOk now I'm experienced about earing ghosts voices!
ОтветитьMan I love science
ОтветитьThis is really impressive, but also really creepy...
It's rather confusing...
How amazing it is to have your work be discovered and even enhanced 150 years from the day you yourself started it. You have achieved your well deserved immortal recognition Scott.
ОтветитьThose were the days❤
