You might be right on this one. The SEO surge would be easy to validate, leading to higher first-page search rankings.
ОтветитьThat is a very interesting point of view.
ОтветитьSure like it when folks bite these new bike marketing activities. Can't wait for my next used Fuel purchase!
Good video!
I think people are taking it way to serious. Bike market is different now then a year ago.
A company reducing 40% after a temporary increased demand of way more then 40% (Covid times) isn’t crazy.
People seen one person make a 10 min speculative vid that got views, so they all did it. Now you do it again in a repackaged way lol.
Definitely think there’s some method to the madness
ОтветитьIs ditching Bontrager part of the plan?
ОтветитьThe Trek store near me in NJ does well, people come from all over to buy electric mountain bikes from them.
ОтветитьTrek just added a company store to my town...
ОтветитьYou've got me thinking.. hmm and you might be on to something. thx and props on an interesting video.
ОтветитьTrek (and everyone else in industry) does't care about the industry or cycling itself, they would all instantly stop production of whatever they are making (or in most cases having other people make for them) to switch to being toilet paper companies or selling flip flops if they could get their share prices up.
ОтветитьYeah it’s hard to believe a company like trek would go out of business. That’s like Toyota going out of business. It would be impossible, or just incredibly unlikely.
ОтветитьFunny thing is none of their bikes went down. The trek fest is the same bike sale they’ve been running for the last year
ОтветитьThey are sacking people in Europe, at least Scandinavia. Don´t see that this will give a 10% reduction though. Guess they might cut back in smaller countries and focus on their strongest market, the US.
ОтветитьTell this to the massive #'s of people let go 3 weeks ago. Could they have tried to tie in some good marketing at the same time to boost sales, that seems smart to me.
ОтветитьIm oen 2022 expensive slash. Got it on sale and pove it. Was recently looking at getting carbon rail and i was shocked how ridiculous the prices were compared to the specs you get. Love trek but they need reality check. The prices on their top range bike is absurd
ОтветитьI hate seeing that kind of marketing strategy work but I get it
ОтветитьTrek sold out long ago wich makes Trek bottom of list for most working class bicycle enthusiast...Trek claims of top tier bikes was tore down by polygon and other budget friendly builders....get a better bike for half of Trek price...no brainer...
ОтветитьWhen you can buy a race ready motorcycle for the same price as a bicycle, you know there’s something fishy going on.
ОтветитьBuy trek sticker... Put to cheap mtb.... Voila i have trek bike
Ответитьstill to pricey on sale
ОтветитьWho in their right mind would pay over $500 for a freak'n Trek in the first place?!?!
That's like paying Ferrari prices for a Kia SUV.
Try telling people who give a shit about Trek bikes. Frames come out of same Chinese factory as many others.
Someone places a logo/ brand name on the down tube. TREK, CANNONDALE, .... whatever. 😅 😅
Thanks for sharing your insights! I just got a new Trek 9.8XT (2022) - all in 5.5k (taxes) - I hope I didn’t get taken for a ride. I love it. I’m not a novice rider but I am a novice buyer - and sadly I didn’t do more research. I got ‘sold’ by the local bike shop. I’m still under the 30 day window.
ОтветитьAny word from the anonymous Kona source since the Sea otter disappearance?
ОтветитьTrek and Spec branded stores made certain I never walk in shops again. Just online and occasional independents when I van find one. Convenient.
ОтветитьIn Australia here Trek are buying heaps of stores or planting new Trek branded stores too. Hardly a company that’s struggling. Especially in Australia that has less market than overseas.
ОтветитьThey have a bunch of inventory because sales are down lol
