I agree- I’ve been using illustrator for decades and learning all sorts of tricks and shortcuts you’re brilliantly making are both extremely valuable and get me out of some of my old ways. I learned how to make proper curves making fonts in design school, but that’s only my foundation. The fact that there’s endless ways to expand on a vectors based foundation is very exciting. How do you rotate using shift? It never works for me or even for like when you say to hold shift with a letter like (a) .. Am I doing something wrong?

There is a much simpler and quicker way to get the font center line.
