ОтветитьI recently looked up your recipe for a graham cracker crust. It’s a little bit different than this one. Different amounts of butter and no brown sugar. Is this one different because of this particular filling? Just curious. I enjoy your videos. Thanks.
ОтветитьWhy did someone comment on the stand mixer in the background? They said it was sad. I don’t get it. I have only one arm so I am not able to separate the eggs. I use an empty water bottle. Crack all the eggs into a bowl squeeze the opening over each yolk release the squeeze and the yolk will be sucked into the bottle. I have learned how to modify certain things over the years and this is a great way for me. Love the recipe. Looks delicious.😋

ОтветитьI made it. It’s really delicious. I’m a professional French chef. I had never used condensed milk before. I just added some zests to the filing before I squeezed the lemons . For the whipped cream i put almost no sugar because the pie is very sweet ,just to balance it. That recipe is a keeper. The texture is like a cross between a crème brûlée and a cheesecake
Next time I will caramelize the top with a blow torch and sugar and then serve it on a bed of raspberry sauce and a side of whipped cream

Just made this. It was great. Made a few changes:
1. I zested the lemons and mixed that into the filing, rather than waste it.
2. Instead of topping with whipped cream, I made a blueberry sauce reduction.
3. I replaced the graham cracker crust. My local supermarket sells an oreo-like cookie with a lemon cookie and lemon filling. I made a crust from that using your oreo crust recipe.
