ОтветитьPLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Would you make a video on unit testing for Functional React's inner functions. The functions are all inside the component which is itself a function, so they are not exported for testing. Unless you wrap the functions or do some fancy footwork to get it working. Surely there must be a better way to unit test Functional React. Can you help?
ОтветитьI've watched plural sight for 1 hour.
And YOU have explained this 10x better in 13 mins.
U have my like n sub. If u have a paid channel. I'm ready

ОтветитьHow do you test a suite with individual tests, I may not want to run all tests, jut just a selected set?
ОтветитьCan we also need jest to install in react app or it is pre instal
Ответитьamazing!

ОтветитьIt would be nice to have a Jest course for typescript and Express/React. Really helps us understand how to setup testing for our project
ОтветитьNice video Kyle. Do you mind making a video about mock functions in jest?
ОтветитьWhoa, literally "simplified" like the channel name
ОтветитьI'm a testing expert, and I congratulate you. Your explanation is very clear and understandable! Subscribed.
ОтветитьYou just saved my life!! Thank you!!
ОтветитьCan you please create video api function test using jest .. please...
ОтветитьCould you please record a video on how to test React's components?
And also it would be cool if you could make a video o how to install Jest to Vite's project. I did it, but it was quite a headache – no tutorials were working, I had to google a lot of errors and fix them by myself...
Thank you this helped answer why I actually need to do automated testing. I still have a couple of questions though: do you just keep the test files inside the same folder as the file that is being used for the test? If not then what are the best practices for storing those files, inside of a separate test folder? And also: when you push to GitHub do you add those tests to gitignore? If not then do you keep those files in your deployment build?
ОтветитьKyle you are so cute 🥰
ОтветитьI'm someone who don't comment on videos but whenever I search for a video and see yours, I always choose you. you are the best man
ОтветитьThis covers the basics but how do you test an existing react app? How does one figure out WHAT to test in a react app?
Ответитьi know this was posted a while ago.. but wow.
creating test made so easy..Huge thanks!!!!
If you are doing it in 2022, create a folder _test_ and move the test files there.
ОтветитьWow, that was amazing, I've got the complete concept of how the test case should look and work, Thanks for the great content Man !!
