RBI 5 lakh ki guarantee leti hai ke agar bank dubb bhi gaya toh 5 lakh RBI vaapis degi.
Sab logo ko 15-20 bank me accounts kholke 5 lakh tak hi rakhna chahiye..

Most of the Banks are doing this. People should read offer document before investing.

MIss Selling is a widespread practice nowadays. Though it did not affect me as much as this family I want to put this out. Recently, I asked for a credit card from my relation ship manager,but they released a different one in my name. Does anyone know how this issue can be escalated?

How can an organization not be fraud, whose CEO is a fraud?

Please slap a case in consumer court to teach them a lesson. Now, I am determined not to buy any further product from them.

I have a similar story like this. I went to buy a mutual fund, but I didn't have much knowledge about MF at this time. So, the guy sold me a unit-linked life insurance policy. A close friend of mine, who is expert in this area, had drawn my attention to this. Then, I paid for minimum periods of 3 years and withdrew ECS option. Consequently, thebpolicy became inactive, but I had to park the fund for another 2 years. Now, Guys, I believe that it's not exclusive with ICICI Bank, but with other major private banks also. So, please be aware of the schemes well and sign only when you know in and out of that. Please take an expert, reliable help for evaluation. Till that time, keep your money parked in savings account only.

I finally reached to the conclusion that no bank is safe today. Bloody all are cheaters

Inshort , dont trust indian banks. After ICICII , yess bank came into the focus. After some times , other banks are also limelited.
Thats why peoples save money into the india , even some intelligent persons dont invest in real estate in india , because of the builder frauds.
And they accumulate his all large money into the postoffice savings account. Or make fixed deposits there. Because of the postoffice working offline , if fraud has been done , then its easily to catch because of the without postoffice employees , no one can move little penny from the postoffice , so frauds can be easily findout.
In india, only postoffice savings account is secure , other all from my person view i never trust on them.
In the last , when my mother died , i came back to the india from the USA , we suffered due to fixed deposits are stucked , even nominee name is there but middlename is not mentioned in name. They told us get sucession certificate , 3 types of the affidavits notarised by lawyer , legal heir certificate from the authority , idemnity , this and that. For the processijg of the , legal heirs certificate we got 3 months of the time , because of the property papers are not available its with banks and without property papers , it cannot be done. After that sucession certificate requires civil court , and lawyers take fees about in percentages of the value of the property , there are no fix charges , very depends upon lawyer to lawyer according to their fees.
And after 6 months we got all , and another 3 affidavits has been done.
And my father was already in shock of the my mother passed away early stage of the life , he was so broken from inside. As a child , i just left my job in USA and suffered in india for 7 months or 8 months due to long and legal processes in india.
At first , legal heirs certificate demands mutation in records , took 3 months , after legal heir certificate along with affidavits took another 3 months.
Thankgod , my neighbour told me to apply legal heir and sucession certificate at same time , else if we just run for only legal heirs certificate , sucession certificate can be missed and it takes further more 6 months of the time like 1 year.
And process was so slowly , i still dont know even if there is slight missing mistake like for example " my driving license showing prabhubhai jayamal das" and we just write" prabhubhai das " in nominee they differentiate as a another person. They told us , there are many persons with prabhubhai das in this world , doesnt prove that you are legal heir , without legal heirs and sucession certificate.
That was huge amount stucked intl the banks. And after 1 months of the run in SBI along with affidavits , i am getting same answers.
In india , nomination issues are also long legal process , and it takes lots of the time and money to get resolved.
I feel in india , only postoffice bank is protected from frauds , but not protected if nomination issues never getting solved.

Well it looks like the RM wanted to get a great bonus and fooled you. A 3rd party was involved so RM probably was getting commission. But sorry to say, your own due diligence is also missing, such things must be done after ensuring everything 100 times and cross referencing. It's a really sad situation.

Frauds like this do happen when we are earning but not financially aware of how to keep that money safe and grow to beat inflation. The only policies we need in our life are
1. Pure Term insurance
2. Health insurance with huge base cover (like Care Advantage).

ICICI bank very worst bank in india .. Without my knowledge they debited money in my account . I asked in bank but no one properly explaining they simply telling visit your branch

Sbi bank has also done with me like this..... KYC form bol kr two policy start kr di., That's why people did not use to see deposit their money to banks before.
