The Best Putting Mat Ever Invented - PuttOut AirBreak (Golf Review)

I love this thing in theory/concept and kind of want one. ONE THING I DON'T KNOW from videos/haven't heard:
Is the mat flat/lumpy when it's rolled out/assembled or does it unroll/setup and just roll true right away?

My issue with nearly every single home-mat is that it's sometimes a struggle to set up that a straight putt rolls straight (like perfect putt, etc) - and it ceases to be useful when you have to play a fake break just to get a straight putt to roll.

The mat on the AirBreak looks a bit thicker/better but not like a foam-backed artificial turf kind of build so it's hard to tell. IT LOOKS like it might be a bit warped/wobbly but seems to roll true in the demo clips you show.

It's the tipping point for me to buy one of these or not - I can stomach the price of this if the surface rolls true without a ton of fiddling with it. But if it's going to be just as annoying as the cheap ones to get them to roll straight when you set it up, it's a deal-breaker.

Looks great! Definitely curious. Don't trust paying for products that don't exist yet. Also, would like to hear more reviews about the roll of the putting surface. Slopes are great, but if the surface is far from reality, then it's not worth it, IMO.

Preordered mine a while back. But with the demand it may be christmas before I see it.

Looking forward for it's arrival this month across the pond. Looked like a great aide, and still does.

I like it but where you have to stand to out is dumb. Hard pass for that one reason.

A fancy putting mat admittedly better than the other putting mats I've owned but for nearly £300 i will pass as i will use it for 4 days then never use it again like every golfing gizmo i buy

I have the OG puttout with the alignment mirror ( compact putting mirror )

I just use my rec-room carpet and sometimes I add a few towels ( socks as well 😉) to create a challenge..

But this Air Break system? For sure..

That is a cool product, smart design. If only I had room for one, I would use it to practice straight putts. My 100 year old Amsterdam apartment is so tilted in two directions that my current 4 meter mat makes me practice breaking putts and uphill/downhill all the time. There isn't a single room that is flat :-) Love the socks Matt, the folks at Callaway will be well pleased I reckon

Agree coach on two parts. First so many golf training aids are gimmicks. Second this does look really good. I checked their website and did not see any pricing? It looks expensive...

Looks interesting but if you can afford it the xputt RG pro is the best mat i ever bought. Yes its digital but you can putt up to 50ft, change stimp, apply breaks, play courses and get path and face angle feedback, and do all sorts of challenges. My putting never been so good since getting it.
