There are so many spectacular things about this synth
ОтветитьCan you control Poly AT on a Desktop Waldorf Iridium with a Hydrasyth?
ОтветитьNever heard a synth where I liked all the pre sets. Until today
ОтветитьYou guys think it’s worth getting this one instead of the one with less keys? Is there any major differences ?
Ответитьugly sound
Ответитьthe pricetag is astonishing reasonable
ОтветитьI wish there was an easier to learn the machine - it is remarkable - however the learning curve is intense and finding time to focus on one instrument as a hobbyist is very difficult. I have owned it for almost a year and have not created any sounds becuase of its complexity and explanations by engineers, not musicians.
ОтветитьFor the price sounds good... And ravy 😳😳😁😁
Ответитьperfect
ОтветитьCan you see the presets on the screen?
ОтветитьHad this thing. Sounds lie a VST and doesnt fit in the mix.
ОтветитьWOah
ОтветитьI've always wanted to have a synth with a ribbon controller, I'm surprised it's not fitted on more of them
ОтветитьHow does this compare to the Waldorf Microwave XT ?
ОтветитьToo much reverb
ОтветитьThis synth makes the Waldorf Kyra sound like a cheap VST plugin. 😄
ОтветитьThese are good.. if u make video games
ОтветитьDoes the Explorer have the same presets? Very rare that I think presets matter or are beautiful, but I want to save money while still getting these presets, if possible.
ОтветитьInteresting copied Ribbon-Controller from moog and Roland! 😅
ОтветитьI really have to appreciate the friend who let me play one of these for a couple hours -- no external processing, just the HS itself. I found the selling point to be more the quality of sound and the poly aftertouch, where this uploader seems more interested in wacky sounds and the arpeggiator. So clearly, a synth which can be used in a variety of ways, and still satisfy very different purposes
ОтветитьSounds like crap.
ОтветитьGreat capable synth , but presets clearly done by sound designer , not musicians ....
Ответитьсерьёзный аппарат
ОтветитьI just purchased mine but haven’t received it yet. I’m excited to get it.
ОтветитьIt certainly has it's own sound, very thin/hollow/harsh, not sure if I like it any better than the many iPad synths I have bought for a pittance, but beautiful interface.
ОтветитьTo be honest, this seems like a recycled concept. There are so many predecessor keywords that would murder this Hydrasynth. Alesis Andromeda, Access virus TI, Nord Lead and wave.....just to name a few, even the Roland v synth. Stop playing guys.
ОтветитьIt has to be such a glamorous pleasure to get my nerdy hands on this one 😊 phenomenal sound. I think i will be saving on it for retirement and will add hologram microcosm phrasing shifter 💙
ОтветитьYour playing gets the best of this machine, though the presets aren’t the best.
I think it’s a real challenge of today’s generation of electronic musicians to be full synthesists. What I mean is learning how to play the entire machine (not just like piano chops) with poly AT, the ribbon, wheels, etc. But also to learn the power of digital synthesis, how to program it, work with it. The world became so enamored with analog that digital was all but forgotten in hardware.
Cool Synth - but no other Gear left my Cave as quick as the Hydra back then. Loved the PolyAT and the Soundpalette, but...no Magic 🤷🏼♂️
ОтветитьI love this machine! Next to be added .
ОтветитьGreat features but it doesn’t sound that good to my ears. I really wanted to like it too
ОтветитьHow many sounds can you create and save?
Ответитьits even way better if u know how to play piano or organ. this thing rocks. but if all you want to do is sound deaign and make weird space sounds it does that too
ОтветитьIf it is made in china then its not for me. It looks great and sounds great but made in china gear i have had usually breaks down because it was not built properly.
ОтветитьJupiter XM or Hydrasynth?
Ответитьsonic orgasim 🎹🔥
ОтветитьDoesn’t look very intuitive. Idk about the oscillator stuff.
ОтветитьAWESOME SYNTH
ОтветитьI just wonder if it can act as a controller for a Novation Peak which can respond to poly aftertouch.
ОтветитьIt sounds like a Sledge 2.0
ОтветитьReminds me of the Roland VS
ОтветитьI would have loved this Synth for what it is with it's great interface, polyphonic aftertouch with MPE-support and vast features.
But to me it is the ice-cold sound that is real letdown. I felt exactly the same "vibe" for Serum when it came out (Although it is a vst-i, it's still comparable with it's pure wavetable multifunctinal Synthesis that gets you "in the realm". Serum is probably the worst of "popular Synths" that I can't stand at all. LIke it was with the M1 when it came out but with vast options! Both digital, both extremely popular.
Both could be heard on many hit records. And both sounding extremely boring! Yes, they are as different digital Synths as they can possibly be, but you get my point, I hope.
Do I hate Synths that try to explore the "digital domain" of sounds?
No! I think Korg Wavestate (And even the old Wavestation) hit the spot for less than half the price, what for me sounded, "nice". More warm. More organic.( I am strongly thinking about getting one!)
The old Roland D-50 even had a very "warmish "organic sound to it.
In modern times, Spectrasonic Omnisphere is great. As is Dune 3.
Still, this Synths specifications are awesome. Just the keyboard alone with it's after touch and now MPE-capability (Although only 4 octaves is one to few. I want bigger keyboards!).
The endless encoders and the multiple displays looks like the best idea for a complex hardware Synth that keeps the menu diving to a minimum and the "visual feedback" to a maximum!
The interesting PWM-features, the wavetable functions, the mutate functions in general. The myriads of LFO:S and looping envelopes. The list goes on...
It's a shame that it (For me) didn't "hit the spine with sparkles" in the right places!
And trust me, I wanted it to!
I mean, people who talk about "sounding like Vangelis" and things like that you just have to check your ears (or your ability to actually hear what its supposed to sound like if being anywhere near or close to it. Just have a listen to Omnispheres CS-80 based patches for example!)
And "not sounding right" (for me) is the biggest letdown!
Hi. Waldorf kyra vs hydrasynth question: which is more versatile (putting effects aside)? Which sound more realistic? Which would you buy if you could have only one synth and nothing else? Thanks!
ОтветитьWaldorf microwave 2.0:p i love it. But i aint a sound designer im just a one key per function knobhead like jupiter .. so ill never own a hydra ..but is a lovely sound for pads and fx
