Brazil World Cup kits: 2002 vs 2022

Love the 94 , 98 and the 2022 Brazilian kits of course , all of them before the 90’s , all of them are Beautiful

Saying that the supporter version is a “price point driven garment” is ridiculous when you can buy a chinese knock-off of the jersey with the same quality and same exact fabrics for less than $5

Now I understand that buying a $5 jersey probably supports abusive work environments and possibly even child labour
But to think that $120 for a jersey is fair and that a “price point driven” jersey that’s basically a participation trophy for the poor should cost $20 is delusional. $20 should get you the real thing.

My favourite Brazil shirt is the Umbro one worn in the old cup in the USA. Th Brazil bage in the material is class

I think my favourite Brazil shirt is the 98 not just because of Ronaldo but it was the first world cup I was able to watch most of the games as I was too you for 90 and missed lots of 94 because of time differences etc

2002 all the way for me. Watching Ronaldo's comeback in all it's glory sealed the deal

My favorite was my knockoff Robinho jersey from 2006. Years later, I no longer felt comfortable wearing his jersey and had ti get rid of it…

Favourite is the supporter version simply because they've done well to keep the cost so low. Nike, Adidas and Puma could virtually end the fake shirt industry overnight if they offered a £20-30 version in the UK. If fakers can sell for that price, why cant the big guys?

My personall favorite shirt must be Brazil's iconic 1970's Mexico World Cup shirt. Aldyr Schlee's design was immortalized in living colors for the whole world to see. When presenting his design in acquarela (1953), Aldyr said he used the colors: Amarelo Ouro and Verde Bandeira for the shirt, and Azul Cobalto and white stripe for the shorts.
Today with fabrics and other technologies, and having to create new designs every couple of years, it is more complex and difficult to be creative, but you guys can sure pull it off with inspiration and intelligence.
I really like to hear when you guys talk about the parameters with which you decide certain details of composition.

2002 is iconic,they beat us ( Turkey ) twice but they were an amazing team,IF we had Germany in the semis I bet we'd make it to the final

The 2006 kit is special. A lot of kids would be wearing it a school. Sentimental rather than design for me I am afraid.

For me the Brazil shirt with the Total 90 themed circles squad numbers really got my attention at the time. Looked so different to anything else at the time.

2002 hands down. It was a special time and the style is of its own both ahead of its time as well as never goes out of style.

My favorite is the Blue Away 2018 Brazil jersey. The Royal Blue color is Amazing and the shoulders, wow. But I love the details from the 2022 home jersey :D. Unfortunate world cup result.... :(

For me the Umbro Brazil shirt from 1994-97 is my all time favourite.

I think my favorite is the 2018 home as the little strip in the back top center but I also like the button collar feature of the current 2022 design if you remove the button flap it has the Brazilian flag which is a beautiful touch to the kit. Imagine it will be a classic if they both combine the 2018 and the 2022 kit....😍

My favorite Brasil kit of all time is the 2019 Copa America 100th Anniversary Away Kit, combines 20s vintage look and feel with modern style, simple and fine in details, definitely a great adaptation.

Really loved the 2006 Brazil Kit. The Nike kits that year had a very elegant look to them, and the use of an almost gold-like yellow and darker green made it look majestic. Fitting shirt for R9 to break the world cup goals record in .

My favorite Brazil shirt is the 2005 home shirt. I love the odd number in a green circle on the front, the negative yellow player name in the green space on the back, and the gradient pattern in the back number. Reminds me of that period where we were transitioning from the 2002 WC legends to the next generation of talents (Kaka, Adriano, R*b*nho)

Favorite = white kit that Brazil brought back for 2019 Copa America

My favourite Brazil shirt is the 2019 away one because it brought something different (the white colour) while still beautifully integrating the classic blue colour for the away shirt in the collar. It looked similar to the ones in the 1950s.

My first World Cup was USA '94, but I was a little older and was able to follow France '98 a lot more and loved Brazil's home kit in that tournament!

Politics aside, this years away shirt for the World Cup did it for me. I liked the print going up the arms, it did remind of my Nigeria a bit but it was nice to see something other than gradient on the kits.

My favourite Brazil shirt has to be the 2006 one. I remember as a young boy watching THAT brazil team with Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo and especially Kaka, who to this day is still probably my favourite player of all time. Although Im not Brazilian, that shirt has a special place in my heart as it reminds me of my first World Cup, religiously watching most of the games with my granddad :)

Love that you guys also don’t love the template of Nike shirts right now, I do agree with you Craig in terms of it being better when the shirt is one color and hiding that seam.

1986 Home -- an absolute BANGER!!

Has to be Craig's own 2002 jersey. Not only is it an absolutely classic looking shirt. Some of the best of the best have worn it (especially Ronaldo and Ronaldinho.) It's also one of the shirts I wanted so so much as a kid but was never able to get.

My favorite brazil kit has to be the 2006 home one. It was my first world cup and witnessing legends like adriano, ronaldinho, and ronaldo for their last dance on an international stage lets me reminisce in nostalgia when looking at this kit.
