really great info. Can you tell me. Are there and drawbacks to using a Geforce Gaming Card as opposed with pro video editing card like the quadro. I was under the impression there were some. Like when color grading and things.
ОтветитьI enjoy your channel. Very useful. Testing the AI / Denoise / Sharpen / Other features of various photography programs would improve the quality of your recommendations. Many do not use Photoshop or Lightroom. Other popular programs that utilize GPUs to speed up processing include DXO Photolab, Capture One, Affinity Photo, Luminar, Topaz and others. There are many moving parts to this since the hardware is only one input to performance. There are software updates, driver updates, software settings to name a few. Thank you for your work.
ОтветитьThe 3050 is $219.99 right now.
ОтветитьRTX 3080 12GB seems like the best stopping point for the consumer who wants good performance at a decent cost. (I say decent because it should be priced better.)
ОтветитьOne of the two PC channels I view. My time is 50% writing, 30% Adobe products, 20% DaVinci. I use a 3050 regularly. I recommend a RTX 3060 12GB to customers. My customers cannot afford GPUs over $600. That is why I now I get them a RTX 4070 12GB at the top end.
ОтветитьYOU ARE THE GOAT
Ответитьyou making this video as its NEWS about numbers .. people dont care really about numbers cause they are just numbers .. they care about whats what and how it fits in each of their work flow .. even if you watch this video your self .. you will say .. what am I talking about .... cheers to no useful information
Ответитьi really wish that this comment is considered. Amd is worth reviewing since after the video in which you explain why you switched back to 3090 from 7900xt amd has released specific drivers called 'Pro' specified for content creators. I just checked radeon rx 6700 (non xt) drivers and it was there for windows 10 & 11 but not for windows 7
ОтветитьLove your videos man, really appreciate it as a photographer. Do you mind revisiting this topic with the new Lightroom denoise feature? Would like to see which gpu would be right for me, coming from a 5700g (5mins a pic is just too long for my workflow)
ОтветитьWhat about ichill graphics cards
ОтветитьBut what are the TEMPERATURES ??? Honestly temp is one of the top priorities for me while I'm working in my small home office. I don't want to turn this small space into an Easy Bake Oven just because I need my door closed while working. My old Radeon 550 runs at 42c under full load. I don't care if a card lets me 3d model the entire universe if it has to run at 90c. Manufacturers are just going to keep pushing more wattage until we're looking at 1,000 watt cards. Imagine what the heat coming off that is going to be lol.
ОтветитьShould we get a brand new 4070ti or an used 3080ti? should we get a new 4080 or an used 3090ti? This frustrate me.
ОтветитьYou are the man. Excellent job.👏👍
ОтветитьI have 1 over riding benchmark- price. Can I afford it and in most cases, no. So I will have yo wait like most folk and after 9 months most will be much lower in price when the new shiny shiny arrives and the flock run off to buy that.
ОтветитьHi... unlike most fps comparison... this is in depth comparison from content creators perspective...👍 altho a lot went over my head and got me confused... 😖
If you can help me out... I am planning on upgrade my old(2011) setup in stages...
Existing setup: i7-960/gigabit x58 usb3 (lga1366)mobo/12gb ddr3/ msi N560gtx/1080p/CM 750W supply. (all working except graphic card...obvious...😂)
Intended Purpose : AutoCAD/ 3ds max/ photoshop/unreal engine/
Games : Cities skylines/Hitman/Tomb Raider/etc nothing fps demanding)
Upgrade plans:
Stage 1 : 1440p monitor/GPU Asus TUF 3060 12g V2 OC (more or less).
Stage 2 : cpu(12600k/12700k) with Z690 mobo/32-64 ddr4/nvme 500-1t OS (and required accessories.
Can spend a little extra for future proofing and "cooling" as peak summer is 45~47°c ... I wont die if no rgb/lighting stuff.
Budget : "not to overkill" if its needed I can try and manage.
Welcome and thanks for any help/suggestions in advance.👍🍻
That's why i switched from AMD to nvidia. Also had enough of "AMD Experience" aka bad drivers when Chrome with enabled harware acceleration can freeze whole PC
ОтветитьI would suggest to test Topaz Labs apps, used more and more by photographers to reduce noise and sharpen images. It uses some AI technology and have a very different performance among different cards. There is not any information regarding its performance with different AMD and Nvidia (or Intel) cards. This sw is used along with Adobe photoshop and Lightroom.
ОтветитьFor Davinci Resolve, I think the RTX 3060 12gb VRAM is the best value -- the balance point between performance and cost. What good are more cores if the GPU doesn't have enough memory. A bunch of the higher cards have only 8 or 10gb.
ОтветитьHi @TecNotice,
I have had a blue screen for video management Internal when exporting video in premiere pro with some after effects on the project.
My specs:
5950x CPU
3070 RTX Zotex
64gb Ram
B550 GAMING PLUS EXTREME MOBO
Confused on why this happened also my pc is not overclocked.
I am confused because I don't know which software is closer to 3dmax viewport, because I render with corona which uses CPU only. What do you think ? Already purchased Ryzen 7950x but I don't know about GPU and monitor ( I do 3d interior only )
ОтветитьExcellent work! This is the top video on this subject
ОтветитьReally to have found this channel. The best actually for creators, all the benchmarks and hardwares reviews seem to be focused on games..
ОтветитьI'm planning on getting an i5-12600K and RTX3060 for Premiere Pro & After Effects. Hope it's a good combo.
ОтветитьThank you for these videos, huge help.
I am currently running Davinci Resolve free on an AMD Ryzen 3900x and RTX 2060 Super 8GB, 750w PSU.
Contemplating a GPU upgrade for both gaming and content but the 2060 Super does ok gaming wise really.
I tend to work with 1080p footage from a DSLR and may be 4k from Go Pro now and again. I may try 4K on the 5D4 but it will mean converting the huge MJPEG files to another format to edit.
Would it be worth moving up to the 3060ti 8GB, better to go to a higher card like the 308012GB or stick on the 2060 Super and spend the £ on moving to Resolve Studio to better leverage the hardware I have now?
Great comparison.Thanks
Ответитьhave you any idea if the DLSS 3 ability of a 4090 (it can generate realtime frames and upscale resolution in gaming 3 times faster than a 3090ti), will also be implemented for Videoediting software? If any 30fps 8K could be converted in a great 8K 120fps or any good 4k in 8k without any artifacts and this in realtime, then Videoediting would become much faster/better. Do you know if editing software will benefit from this DLSS 3?
ОтветитьCool bgm 😍
ОтветитьWow crazy dude. You performed 1000 benchmarks for this .. a lot of hard work ... well done. Was really helpful.
ОтветитьNot sure if this has been done before but has anyone ran a test with a budget CPU like an i3-10100f to see where the GPUs drop off and cause a bottleneck? It would be nice to see where it becomes pointless to upgrade if you have a slow CPU.
ОтветитьThank You For This Valuable Infomation It Will Help Me Alot
ОтветитьWho is the better for lightroom export images
ОтветитьI can watch your videos for hours, they are so interesting and educational
Ответить❤️🇵🇭
Ответитьbro thanks, you save my budget, now have rtx 2070 and I hope will wait new 40** if the price will be reasonable
dont see point to spend now 1000$ (3080 12G) for 20% boost in GPU effects
This. Thanks you so much for doing this one :D
ОтветитьThank you for the in depth review.
ОтветитьCould you compare the 3060, 3070, 3080 vs 6600 (non XT) 6800 XT for creators?
ОтветитьHey mate, I like the content focus on production for professionals. I'm a heavy Vectorworks, Twin Motion, Blender & L8 user for event lighting design. Would like to see a high end version of testing for Nvidia A & AMD W series hardware.
ОтветитьNaaah, I'll wait for the RTX 10.000 TI.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU for making this video. Big help understanding the GPUs. I am going to look for your video with GPU mistakes. You have the best channel. I built my computer based on your channel.
ОтветитьThis channel deserves more recognition, underated af one of the best tech channels, especially for creators
Ответитьwhat is the best rtx 2060 or 3050 ?
ОтветитьThere should be a comparison Price/Performance benchmark for all these Cards.
Ответитьexcellent video, it would be best if you have added the 2060 6gb and 12gb too since they costs same as 3050 and better than it
ОтветитьⓂ💙💖
Mantap👍👍
My friend told me that by recent driver updates AMD has improved their OpenGL performance.
ОтветитьActual performance of 3050 is huge in Adobe and in some other programmes, the performance is hindered by driver inorder to sell the top models well.
ОтветитьSettled with asus rtx 3060 dual oc v2 because of your review. Looks great so far.
ОтветитьI have a question which cpu should I choose for a editing pc at 1080p to 2k and a little 4k footage a. i9-11900k , i7-11700k,i9-10850k, or i5-12500 I’m able to get these 4 cpus around the same price or should I spend more and get i5-12600k ps I use davinic resolve
ОтветитьFor games in 2023, you need a 3090 and 40 series.
Forget this test.
All games on the market now, you can play with a old gtx970, because little has improved in the last 7 years.
This will change in 2023
