Catholicism is false, I desperately want you guys to get saved by trusting in Christ ALONE which the catholic church doesn't do and you cant mix grace with works. Romans 11:6 "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.” and by grace we are saved. The gospel is very simple, Jesus died for your sins was buried and rose again the third day. If you believe you have eternal life as a result then you have it. Salvation is by grace through faith. "In whom after ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy spirit of promise." "By grace you have been saved through faith, AND NOT THAT OF YOURSELVES it is a GIFT of God. Not of works lest any man should boast." Works is human effort of any kind, read the book of John. Jesus clearly gives the criteria for Salvation (unless you think he was lying), "he that believeth on the son hath everlasting life" stop being a work salvationist. "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by the faith of Jesus christ."

I started reading the Catechism of the Council of Trent a few weeks ago. Both Catechisms are truly divinely inspired as if one of the Apostles was writing it. They are beautiful and magestic works. They took years and many many bishops and priests to put together. These books are sacred in my opinion. Second to the Holy Scriptures. I recommend anyone to read it cover to cover.

The Catholic Church has a DOCTRINE. Some Christian denominations do not (The Baptist faith does bot have a doctrine and because of it any preacher could teach whatever he wants and call it Baptist teaching. Thjey are not confined to any particular teaching.). If anyone should ask what does the Catholic Church teach and believe simply recite the the Nicene Creed. We all know it as we say it every Sunday at mass. The Catechism answers all OUR questions about God.

Here’s a quote from the Catechism:

Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.” They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

How does something so blatantly homophobic be “beautiful”???

Go the way that is narrow, that is difficult to maintain but is made possible by grace, with an open heart and open mind to the Holy Spirit whose love for mankind is less conceivable to us than is the creation of now fallen humanity, and do not easily sway along towards destruction on the wide course, with close minded and cold heartedness because of the destination you know in your own heart you have chosen from the grip of pride and the grasp of self-delusion. We are born on real ground so that we may believe in a reality. For that reality now is only a foretaste of what reality is when it is more solid, true, and when it is perfect. I wish that all would just get plucked up into that paradise but it is just from the heart of one of many making their way and I do not question the Lord’s governance or judgements let alone would want to strip people of their free will in the ultimate decision making which is endowed upon us unto our own dignity by personal responsibility along with freedom. This will be a treat for me this new year ahead, because i long for the transformation I am called to partake in and feel blessed that I have brothers and sisters on this platform with the same hopes! Who doesn’t need transformation?! It is truly the way of life offered us by Christ

White Roses for the Bride of Christ
White Roses for the Bride of Christ - 29.12.2022 23:50

The keys to the kingdom are not what you think because of what Peter said in 2 Peter 1:5-11 and because of what the Lord said in Mark 10:42-44.

"...Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. BUT SO SHALL IT NOT BE AMONG YOU: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all" (Mark 10:42-44).

Peter was commanded three times to “feed My sheep” (John 21:15-17). Peter has been feeding the sheep by sharing the keys to the kingdom with the sheep in 2 Peter 1:5-11 and the entrance to the kingdom will be abundantly ministered to them. And they will never fall.

And Peter said, “...add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:5-11).

In other words, instead of the keys to the kingdom being totalitarian power to demand that other people and churches  obey you, Peter says that the keys to the kingdom is the sheep having the power to live holy and to never fall.

Peter by his personal example never acted as if having the keys to the kingdom meant asserting authority over other people. For example in Acts 15 when a very important matter was to be decided before the assembly the final verdict was given by James and not by Peter (Acts 15:19). Paul gave commandments to the churches he established and not Peter (1 Corinthians 7:17 and 16:1). Also, Paul did not take his orders from Peter. In fact Paul rebuked Peter to his face. “But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed” (Galatians 2:11).
