Rutus Argo NE and Ultima, metal detecting

Heard that Rutus are canny machines .These seem to have plenty of setting and dual freq . Great review Sid keep em coming . Interesting to see what they are like in the field .

Really enjoying these detector reviews, I like the settings on the Ultima but didn't like the tones, presumably you can sharpen them all to sound high and clearer like the last coin, in the tone adjustment section? Thanks Sid ATB MMMD

Love your reviews Sid, your review of the Alter 71 made me buy one! Rutus detectors are incredible value for money, can we expect a more in depth test (no pun intended) showing recovery speed for example? Would be good to see how these compare with the alter 71 running the same frequency too?

Interesting machines. Like the look of them and build quality seems to be good. Just wondering how well they deal with hot rocks on the beach? One beach we go to has loads of them and my Quest Q40 seems to love them :(
